I Love a great supernatural tale, a Love story, PNR, a Cool Mystery and Most Sci-Fi....if there are vampires, weres or witches in it, that's a plus! Basically I am a 40+ y/o young at heart woman rediscovering the wonderful world of books and am now addicted! Lol I LOVE AUDIBLE!!!!!
Fabulous for kids!
It was very well narrated and produced...but the story jumps around a bit....
He was excellent...very talented!
I could have, but found myself not interested about halfway through...so I took a break...but the finish was great!

I am a wee bit over the half a century mark in years. I enjoy audiobooks, cats, rats and most days my family, not necessarily in that order!lo
I really tried to like this book.I found it to be confusing to me and would be to most children I know. Roy Kelly does wonderful narration of all the characters..and there are many.We start in a lab, with a weird animal named Izzy...I think. There is some archeology thrown in.We end up with aliens wanting to occupy Earth.

Scientists from the far off planet Authair are in a race against time. A plague is killing their people and the must find a safe haven to complete their research. Earth looks like a winner. Meanwhile, a group of archaeologists and archaeology students are peeking into ruins and find something unexpected.
The action and humor are a lot of fun in this book. We start off in space with aliens, scientists (mad or otherwise), and Izzy himself (who is like some sort of intelligent cat lizard). There’s this plague and some bad guys and the good guys must flee and continue playing with their glass beakers at the same time. They spot Earth and discuss, determining that it looks like a good place to hide out.
Then we totally switch character lists. Now we get to play with the Earthlings and the pace slows way down. This second half of the story is definitely more about a mystery and building some suspense. An archaeology student’s dog digs something unique up and the professor is consulted. Various shenanigans ensue.
For the most part, this book was fun, combining two of my favorite things – space opera and archaeological mystery. My only criticism is that the book is so cleanly divided in half in location and characters that I felt I was reading 2 separate stories. Plus this book cuts off before the connection between the two is cleanly tied together. So be ready to jump into Book 2!

The Narration: The narration, sound effects, and music for this book are excellent. It made the book extra fun to have so many voice actors and sound effects. The music was a nice touch too, never drowning out the dialogue.
It makes me happy to wake up everyday and look forward to listening. Many times I listen while doing artwork. I find it very relaxing.
I would definitely listen to IZ again. It was quirky, fun, entertaining and well done. This audiobook provided some great entertainment.
I don't know who would be my favorite character. I liked them all. I guess Aristotle. This was an overall fun adventure with character introduction and I would be interested in hearing more in the series.
Roy Kelly's performance was amazing. He did a fantastic job with this audiobook. There were other voice actors in the book as well that were credited at the end. I especially liked the woman and wish her name was added to the narration.
I listened to this audiobook in one sitting. It wasn't too long but if it had been longer, I still would've listened to it all at the same time. Great work!
