It’s zombie versus zombie as the Saberton Corporation declares war against the Zombie Mafia, kidnapping several of their party. It falls to Angel to lead the remnants of her gang halfway across the country to claw their way through corporate intrigue, zombie drugs, and undead trafficking to rescue her friends - and expose the traitor responsible for their abduction.

Any additional comments?

If you've heard that this edition in the series is on the slow side, that would be true…although an easy fix to this is to listen on Audio. Allison McLemore was excellent as the voice of Angel. It was totally a good call using my audible credit for this one. Despite the slow-ish pacing, I really found myself liking Angel even more than I already did. Once the action kicks up a notch; this was a quick, entertaining listen. I highly recommend this series, especially if you prefer a zombie with a functioning brain.

Allison McLemore has a brilliant southern accent!

And that is coming from a girl born & raised in New Orleans. There are so few stories I’d rather listen to when I’m in the mood for pure easy entertainment.
Angel is a character I have grown so fond of over the last 4 books. D. Rowland has given this simple, southern zombie more depth & charisma than you would have ever thought possible. A guaranteed laugh.

Loved it...all the way untill the end...

Where does How the White Trash Zombie Got Her Groove Back rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Its up there this is a fave series of mine...so I likey!!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Angel as always, smart, funny...and such a real person, she never gives herself enough credit, and she is awesome!!!

What about Allison McLemore’s performance did you like?

She IS Angel, as always she did not disappoint!!! But Kyle's voice is creepy...but I think its meant to be...lol

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The Title would be good...its a clever title...but now after hearing the end...I see where its going, and I dont think I like it...still adore this book and the series!!

Any additional comments?

Ok I was digging this book, and then the ending came, really its more 4.5 stars...would have been 5 but the ending irritated me a bit...I DO NOT want to see Angel go back to her old ways, after all this hard work she has done...I want to be proud of her!! But the book as a whole was wonderful except the last 10 minutes for me...but I will still give it the old 2 thumbs up...and a HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! :)

Not the best entry, but still fun

Angel is in for more changes in Book 4 and most seem to be for the better. However, when it's revealed that someone within "The Tribe" is sharing information with Saberton Corp, Angel heads off on an adventure to places she'd never thought she would.

I enjoyed the insight into the history of "The Tribe" and zombies (or ghouls) in general -- Diana Rowland seems to have a rich backstory in mind and feeds us tidbits at opportune moments.

Allison McLemore was PERFECT!

Book 4 was a rough start for me as it didn't hook me in with that usual drive to plow in and finish ASAP. So things dragged out (20 minutes here, half an hour there), but once things got flowing, it was loads of fun.

I AM a tad concerned with where the story leaves Angel and the synopsis of Book 5, but I'm a bit tired of the Saberton Corporation at this point, so maybe a change is good.

Hurry up and read this series!

Another excellent and exciting adventure with Angel and her zombie "tribe". Allison McLemore once again does a spectacular job narrating this fun, quirky, unique series. I highly recommend these books in audio format. While I am sure they are still enjoyable in print, Ms. McLemore's narration takes them to the next level. Whether on audio or in print, be sure to start at the beginning of the series or you will lose a lot of what makes this book (and the series) so special. As a slight downside, I wasn't thrilled with how this book ended (no cliffhanger, so don't worry there) but it did not ruin my overall enjoyment of the book. Hopefully what happens at the end is not a forecast of things to come.

awesome series can't wait for the next book

Great series, perfectly narrated. After the first book I was hooked. I got through them all much too soon and have no other option but to wait impatiently for the next book.
