fun to listen top

It was a fun story. I really appreciated the humor as well as the voice actors selection of what he made the dog sound like. Made me smile each time.
I had quite a few long drives and this made it quite enjoyable. Can't wait to listen to the next book...... when I have a credit to use that is. 😉

fast action never a dull moment from the beginning to the end. makes you wonder how many druids are walking around the world. would recommend to anyone who likes good fantasy.

If you could sum up Hounded in three words, what would they be?

funny, interesting, suspenseful

Who was your favorite character and why?

A tie between Atticus and Oberon. Atticus is a wonderful combination of laid back and kick ass with a generous helping of snark on the side. Oberon's thoughts are exactly like I imagine my dog's thoughts are, and the narrator's voice when he is in character for Oberon fits the personality perfectly.

What does Luke Daniels bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I have read the book and enjoyed the read, but Daniels brings it to life. I also enjoyed hearing the pronunciation of names of the various Gods and Goddesses.

Any additional comments?

I started listening to this book during a time of severe personal stress and pressure, marked by insomnia, fits of crying and despair. Other books had not held my attention, but this one was just what I needed. As I was listening my spirits lifted and my mind was occupied enough to escape the spiral of stress. I recommend this if you ever find yourself in a similar situation. I hope it helps you as much as it helped me.Namaste

such a good series

loved this first book in series. I am so looking forward to hearing more books. narrator was awesome.

Surprisingly good read

I am not a fan of fantasy, and the rapid fire reveal of a the many fantasy elements of this book had me worried at first, but the well written, well plotted and sometimes over the top hilarious parts of this book had me hooked pretty quickly. A hilarious dog, vampire and werewolf lawyers that actually earn their pay, and a little old lady that is willing to bury bodies in her backyard for you.... all make it easy to glide through this book quickly and happily.

very good book cant wait to continue the journey with the Druid. jajaja.
the performance was priceless i laughed with in 30min in the book. n laughed many more times thru out. i even got funny stares bc i was silently laughing n no one around lol. you will enjoy this book a lot.
fair warning though, their is some discriptive gore scenes. that is not for everyone. but awesome book non the less.

My first audiobook

Heard a little of this on a road trip, and couldn't get it out of my head. Excellent first audiobook experience! Moving on to the following books now.

If you could sum up Hounded in three words, what would they be?

I love reading this book as it shows a man centuries and thousands of years old but has adapted his life to the modern lifestyle. He is clear about his business and throws a little bit of humor in with his dog who still shows the mindset of a dog. Who could pass up those sausages. I must read/listen to all of the books as it shows his ability to escape from all of the calamities sent is way, much not of his choosing. I am also glad he takes the time to take on a new student as with the limited number of Druids let one cannot be too careful.This is definitely a series of books I would recommend reading and please do it in order, otherwise mot much will make any sence.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Attacus. Living all those years behind the shadows with someone hunting him and trying to kill him for centuries, not just decades. Awesome.

What does Luke Daniels bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Life does have humor. Nothing is totally grim and death.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Oh yeah. and I may have.

Absolutely my favorite series I've found so far.

I have lost track of how many times I've listened through every book, but between the story and Luke Daniels' narration, I can't get enough.
