Amazing Start!

Wow! This book truly has it all. Salvatore’s writing is so unique and provides a measure of depth to all the characters and the plot itself. He takes ample time to develop all the key players and paints a rounded picture of Drizzt’s upbringing and how he came to his principals. And the narrator was fantastic! It’s almost like this was an audio drama, as the narrator had distinct voices for everyone and conveyed all of the necessary emotions for the audiobook to keep listeners thoroughly engaged. This is a MUST HAVE!

RA Salvatore’s worst is...

To me, this has always been the worst trilogy of all the Drizzt books, but even Salvatore’s worst is better than anyone else’s best. Don’t miss these books. Don’t miss any of them.

Story about boy Who finds him self.

I loved it. Narrator was good and Easy To listen.

Amazing story with amazing narration.

I absolutely loved it. I loved learning some of the history and the way of the Drow elves. The narrator did a great job portraying the story. I am a driver and I look forward to work just to listen to this story. buying the second book right now!

Loved it, R. A. Salvatore is my al time favorite author, being able to find his books here is awesome.

Inspiational

aside the excellent execution of narration this audio book provided, ide read many books from this series before. in no particular order at first, and then with missing books between others.

This series, writing style, it is inspirational. it helped me make sense of my place in the world as I warded the depth of prison. the characters in this book are so well defined, and nearly every scene is captivating, if not imagination inspiring.

I finally Gave in and Started this Series, Love-It

I didn't think I would enjoy a fantasy series. I typically prefer Urban Fantasy, and I wasn't so keen to jump from the urban fantasy genre into a full fledged fantasy Series. I have had a few people recommend for me to try the Legend of Drizzt out. Thank goodness I did. I am now 10 books into the series, and I have been thoroughly entertained throughout the entire series. My only complaint so far is that I am so into this series, I am not getting stuff done around the house. At first I was somewhat concerned about not being familiar with the narrator. I am a huge fan of Luke Daniels and also Oliver Wyman, so I didn't think I would find others that could Narrate at that kind of high level. After finishing the first book, I was convinced that I now have another favorite Narrator to add to my list of elite narrators, and I am now convinced nobody could perform this series better. All around this is a great first story, an even better series with outstanding narration.

I read this book while I was in highschool. It was well worth listening to it again. The narrator is really great. Picking up Exile right away.
