Best Fiction Series
I listned to the every book in this series (started with the prequels), and they were excellent. The storyline is beautiful, not predictable, and the action scenes are so well written it was like watching a movie yet even better. The character development was so intriguing and I felt special just going along for the ride. I enjoyed this series so much and am still having a hard time leaving these characters behind. Highly recommend this series to anyone looking for an easy-to-follow story, an intriguing world of fantasy, or just countless hours of learning about Hadrian and Royce and their countless journeys.

Hands down my favorite!!
Great books! I love these characters so much. Me. Reynolds narration is perfect! I can’t wait for more of the Riyria Chronicles to come out. This is my third time through this series, so I recommend them highly. Thank you Mr. Sullivan.

minor inconsistency but still good story
small things bothered me.. such as claiming Royce begged the god thinking he wouldnt notice he was part elf.. when in previous books he didnt know till well into adulthood in dulgath

Read the whole series two times
I just finished reading this book along with the other Ryrie books for the second time. And I loved it even more the second time around. This magnificent tale has layers and layers of truth —as does the Lord of the Rings. Thank you Michael Sullivan!

EXCELLENT storytelling!
Somewhat written like a movie, this trilogy balances on the razor-thin edge between fantasy and reality. There is not one dull or tedious part in this story. Sullivan keeps your attention by deftly maneuvering through this wonderful imaginary world at a steady pace that sweeps you along with it as the story fluidly travels out of one adventure right into the next. Your mind's eye will become completely engrossed in the beautifully written imagery presented throughout. Do yourself a favor and get these books. You will love it!

An epic fantasy
I have listened to many fantasy series and this one had me from the very beginning. I loved all the characters and their interactions. The overall story kept me hooked and everything tied together perfectly in the end. Best credits spent in a long time. I'm just sorry it is over and now I have to find something else.

Ridiculous good book
The author and the narrator are master of the art. They deserve my admiration, that is not easily earned. Nor do I use to write full reviews.
The action scene descriptions must be studied in fiction classes for writers. Also the use of humor and drama. The plot is excelent, surprised me a few times.
I recommend without a hint of doubt
