Epic series
I love the characters who are well thought out and have many layers. The characters cover many species; human, elf, dwarf and goblin. Stark landscapes, great cities, jungles and more. I would love to see more regarding what happens next with the characters that survived to thrive but the book ended in such a way I can also be appeared that this end is all he wrote! Thank you, Michael J. Sullivan. I've almost read everything but thankfully there are a few books of yours I haven't read. Off now to discover another story. Mark

In which The Power Of Friendship would've worked
I have to say overall I liked this series, but I felt like the last book did a lot to undermine Hadrian and Royce's relationship. For a series that stressed how important the bond between two friends [The Heir and His Knight] was to the safety of the world, it seemed like it almost went out of its way to say, no, the only good thing these two characters ever did was fall in love with a woman. Couple this with a strong female character whose entire arc was about reclaiming what a "witch" was, and making her most important [or at least her most talked about] accomplishment finding True Love, and this book ended up.... underwhelming.
The action was fantastic, the worldbuilding compelling, and the sense of urgency was strong. But it felt like the character relationships took a back seat to "but we need SOMEONE to fall in love" by the end, to the point it almost felt shoehorned in.
I would still recommend this story to others. It's still good fantasy. But the character relationships were overall unfulfilling. The Power of Friendship really would've walked miles in this story if the author had let it.

I love this book series (and the others by Sullivan). I get so hooked and just can’t stop listening or reading. So full of adventure and action.

Loved it
This is one of my new favorite fantasy series. I loved the story, the characters and the plot twists. Can't remember the last time I was this sad to have a series end!

Remarkable
I had a feeling I would like the Riyira Revelations. I never expected to be so deeply absorbed into the story.
The author and the narrator brought together a remarkable story with remarkable characters.

End to a great story
So sad to end this series. It has an amazing story with so many twists and turns. always kept me guessing and going "WTF! No way!" In the best way. the narrator is amazing and I could keep listening 🎧
