War. Here. Now.
Anthony and Katherine had heard of Cyber War before, but never thought they would have to figure out how to live through it taking down the grid.
Chaos comes fast as people quickly realize the world has changed for good. But the battle also brews for Kat and Tony as they struggle with deciding whether to stay or go.
Will they bug in and try to make things work in the city? Or will they leave in time to make it out, away from the mayhem?
Tony and Kat learn the hard way that there is no such thing as safe in the new world they live in. But there is hope in new friends that no longer are strangers.
As they try to navigate their new surroundings, it's only a matter of time before they have to make a stand.

I am just girl who loves my husband, dogs, shopping online and books!
first let me say; the performance of this book was amazing! I have really learned to love Kevin as a narrator, and having Becket do the female voice along side him was a welcome treat that added even more realism to the story.
I am not a prepper, nor have I even thought about it before, but after reading these books from Mr Hawk, it really makes you think. I even let my husband listen to this book with me. He loved it, and has NEVER listened to a book with me before. After listening to this fiction story, He has decided that maybe we should have a least a weeks worth 0f food and water on hand. It couldn't hurt.
Things get crazy once this disaster hits. I only hope this stays fiction. I would think a lot of people would enjoy this book, its a great "what if" story.
I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.
I love books like this. Kat and Tony have to come face to face with extremely difficult circumstances that threaten their survival. They have to make what I would consider to be completely normal and difficult choices as they try to stay ahead of those who might do them harm. The appeal in this book (for me) stems from the fact that the author doesn't try to go way out on a limb with scenarios that would seem implausible. The rioters and looters followed a plausible pattern with plausible results. Good guys die, bad guys die and luck is a major player in how this story unfolds, just as it would be in real life.
I also really enjoyed the two narrators and the two perspectives throughout the book. The narration was excellent. The pace and flow were excellent and it made the story very enjoyable. I had a hard time gauging just how old Kat and Tony were, but it seemed to me they would be in their 40s.
Overall, I enjoyed the trilogy and liked the ending. I did let my mind wander a bit about how things would have gone if the power had stayed off a little longer. Could've been pretty interesting. However, realistically, I think the book went in the right direction.
I received a free copy of this audio book for an honest review.
I'm a technology teacher and love all kinds of books.
Maybe this book is worth the listen as I honestly do not know what I think of the book so you should give it a try to see what you think. The dual narration was interesting and the cyber warfare plot was at times gripping, but sometimes seemed a little long. I do think it might fit in nicely if you are in the Tom Clancy mode and want to hear a well-read book.

I work in IT, I love reading, I love Writing and for those daily travels too and fro I love to listen to Audible books too
This book by Emerson Hawk is a good trilogy. The characters are good and although I expected the two narrators almost alternative narration of chapters to be annoying - not sure why but I prefer one narrator - yet I enjoyed the difference. Kevin Pierce's narration is good. Becket Royce is good too.
The story is believable and although I found the trilogy short the detail and interest kept is excellent.
This is not a heavy violent book although the violence is there. It is in my view a good listen. A well written story. Enjoy.
Kevin pierce is the best narrator in the business. Not sure why Ms Royce was added to the mix. She was ok, but I would rather have Pierce. Story was ok but the ending was a little superficial.
Because I enjoyed it so much, I wish Grid Attack Cyber War was longer. A little preparation goes a long way. This book follows Tony and Kat through a grid collapse. The married couple isn't completely prepared for a grid collapse, but they've thought enough through before hand to give them an advantage over their neighbors. This is one of the more realistic prepper books I've listened to.
I enjoyed having two different narrators to play the husband and wife team. Since the book switches back and forth between them, the different voices helps you keep track of which character's point of view is currently 'speaking.' Kevin Pierce is a favorite narrator of mine. His performance was spot on as usual. Becket Royce was a good choice for the female character. Their voices complemented each other.

Perhaps. They need a good editor, as sometimes they get "in the woods" with tech speak and repetition.
That said, the overall quality between author and performer is very good, and I may revisit the relationship at some point.
The level of thought and detail in the premise is highly compelling.
SIMPOC coming "alive" ( self aware ? ) is fascinating.
Maybe on streaming Amazon on Roku
Good offering for the genre ( end of times/AI conflict ) and worth the credit, esp. for this version.
Didn't read the book, received the audio version for free to review.
Very well done narration, 2 narrators one male and one female fit the book perfectly since it's told from two viewpoints male and female
Great survival story based on a something that could easily happen tomorrow morning or next week.
I enjoyed this book very much the dual narration was excellent the story was wonderful the characters were very well developed. It is a little simplistic but perfect for someone who is wanting to delve in to this kind of book. The only reason that I did not give it five stars was that book 3 was completely and totally unbelievable to me. Up until book 3 I found it to be totally believable and completely reliable but I met Ralph all bets are off. I loved his character but the ending is completely unbelievable to me.
I received this book at no cost to me from the author narrator or publisher for a honest review
I have experienced adventures and objectives others have only read about. Perhaps one day my story can be told? Until then, I will listen!
The combination of story along with the excellent narration and alternating points of view made this audio book very entertaining. I believe that this book would make a good introduction to friends and family members that haven't realized the need for being prepared!
"Great Story with some Gripping Twists"
A great story although personally I don't feel the narrators are the best choice for the characters it was still quite easy to get into and very gripping and full of personal tips in the case that the SHTF.
