Publisher's summary
For decades, inexplicable technology has passed into our world through the top secret anomaly called the Breach.
The latest device can punch a hole into the future....
What Paige Campbell saw when she opened a door into 70 years from now scared the hell out of her. She and her Tangent colleagues brought their terrible discovery to the President and were met with a hail of automatic gunfire after leaving the White House. Only Paige survived.
Fearing a terrifying personal destiny revealed to him from the other side of the Breach, Travis Chase abandoned Tangent...and Paige Campbell. Now he must rescue her because Paige knows tomorrow's world is desolate and dead, a ghost country scattered with the bones of billions. And Doomsday will dawn in just four short months...unless they can find the answers buried in the ruins to come.
But once they cross the nightmare border into Ghost Country, they might never find their way back....

Surprised
At first I wasn’t sure if I had made the right choice in selecting this book. But as the story built and grew I was pleasantly surprised where the story went as well the method of how we got there. It didn’t run as normally would expect it would though I thought the ending was a bit rushed as it concluded. Still, it didn’t disappoint as a story.

Great story!!! even better than the first.
Ghost country is a fantastic story that gets it's hooks into you and never let's you go until the very final chapter. The suspense and build up is top notch. The twists, which started quickly don't let up until you think you know what has to come next, then they twist again and blow your mind .
enjoy the ride, I know I did.

Great Story!
This was a great sequel to The Breach! I almost didn't read this book due to the negative reviews I read, but since I enjoyed The Breach so much I decided to give Ghost Country a try and am so glad I did. The reviews Ghost Country got on Amazon were much more positive and I have to agree. I thought the story was very well done. This book was action packed with a well thought out story. It was a true page turner and the story never let me down. My only disappointment was when the book ended because it was over. I highly recommend Ghost Country!

Sequel to The Breach, this one is FIRST rate!
This book SO needs to be made into a movie. Creative, innovative, edge-of-your- seat exciting, Patrick Lee does it again. 3 for 3 for me! Narrator is the perfect choice. I think listening makes it even better than reading. SUPERB!

Gripping and Exciting
Where does Ghost Country rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I liked that it kept me in suspense at all times.
What other book might you compare Ghost Country to and why?
Can't wait for more books by Patirck Lee
What about Jeff Gurner’s performance did you like?
Jeff Gurner is one of my favorite narrators. He can switch his voice making it easy to detect who is who and his voice is easy to listern to for long intervals.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes

I have 2 big issues
issue #1 Congress just allowing (redacted) to become (redacted). That's the most unbelievable part of the story.
issue #2 frequency science. I'm fine with space magic, but I find it hard to take the explanation put forth seriously when it's something familiar. I would have much preferred some tech that came out of the Breach. magic. got it.
having said that, I still love the book. second time listening actually.
it's well worth listening to.
