Although I appreciate free books, this was ridiculously short. Two "stories" that were essentially two chapters. I think it probably would have been a good book if it had been any longer at all. Just as you begin to get interested, it is over. The subject is interesting and what is there was written well.

What did you love best about Free Stories from the Guild Hunter Universe?

This is a brilliant marketing idea on the part of Singh's editor AND Tantor Media. As the new book comes out and the narrator is already there narrating the newest book, why not take an hour to put the free short stories from her newsletters onto a track and use it to promote? BRILLIANT! And a GREAT idea before the next Psy-Changeling book.... Hint Hint!!! :)

How could the performance have been better?

Honestly, Eyre is not my favorite narrator. I am a fan of Singh's books and prefer the narrator for the Psy Changeling series. Eyre is just too squeaky for my tastes. And it isn't just the characters. I noticed that in books she's narrated for other authors, as well.

I love the fact that she is lively gives the story depth

These two short stories (and they are really short) are nice and sweet but it doesn't make me want to read the rest of the series.
