Short Story
I read the reviews before buying so I knew that others said it was a filler and very short. I agree. I like the series so I just wanted to hear the book but I wouldn't waste a credit on it, I would spend the $10 on it if you want to hear the unabridged version. Credits are worth more than this book, cause it is short.

I did not see that coming.
For those who have been listening to this series like myself, this is not one to miss. Laurel, you never stop surprising me with the twist endings. The new characters in this book were wonderfully put together for such a short novel. I am curious to see what happens to Anita's life in upcoming books with this new addition.

I just discovered audible books. Laural Hamilton 's Anita Blake Vampire series is always a good read. Each novel follows the exploits of the vampire hunter 's delimas.

Good Story!
I thought the story itself was a great addition to the series. That being said, I think the writing changed from the last book to this one. Anita was doing things she wouldn't have done before and it feels like the writer was someone very different.
