Fantastic story

Kate Reading is one of the best narrators I've heard. She always delivers an amazing performance.
Jim butcher is becoming one of my favorite authors! The story universe is complex and always filled with interesting details. His characters are just as complex and are never stagnant.
I highly recommend both the author and narrator to anyone interested in the best stories!

long but good ending

it was a long conclusion but not unnecessarily overdone. good ending that brings a solid conclusion to the world that was built.

The ending...

Had higher hopes for the ending, but it was not bad. I could see another book in the future to fully complete the series, but the ending is fine where Butcher left it. It makes sense I suppose.

Great series!

Jim Butcher ties everything up at the end, no loose ends. Sad to see it end!

Glorious

If you have somehow found this review without reading the prior books, go back to the start and enjoy six exciting, terrifying, and hilarious stories read by a marvel of the audiobook world. But read carefully, my friend. for any word you read in even those earliest books may prove crucial in the stories to come. You're welcome.

LUV'd This Story

was looking for a filler while waiting for the last WoT .... Codex Alera filled the bill. my only complaint is that "I want more". And the BEST part is ... we have an author who delivered a complete story in a timely fashion. If you like WoT and Miistborn ... you will love the Codex Alera series. And there is NO waiting YEARS for closure. lLOVED IT. And try to form, Kate Redding delivers an excellent reading.

Kate Reading does a good job!

I'm not going to lie, coming from the Dresden Files, she's not James Marsters, but Kate, you did a fantastic job narrating the Codex Alera. Thank you!

A great end to a great series.

From the first book through the last in this series I was hooked. Even after 6 volumes I wish there was more to come.
