Book 5 of the Demon Accords.
Sometimes discretion is the better part of valor. Sometimes it's just best to get the hell out of Dodge. After turning an ancient vampire to dust and stirring the Coven into a mob of pitchfork-and-torch-bearing vampires, Chris Gordon thinks it might be time for a road trip. So, leaving Tanya to calm the troubled masses, he heads south to help a North Carolina pack with some demon troubles. But with beautiful Stacia Reynolds in the shotgun seat and his trusty companion, Awasos, Chris just might find more trouble out of the Big Apple than in it as he follows the blacktop south. It's demons and witches and bears, oh my.

I hate it when these books end. I know the next in the series is avaliable but still.....I want to climb in the pages and hang out with Chris and Taunya. These books are to short, which I guess for the author is a good problem to have.
The author was doing a modest job with the series until this book. In this book Chris suffers a complete memory loss of everything we have read so far, which in turn retards everything about the series. I won't be finishing this book or the rest of the series.
If you like a book about a hero who is a kicks butt gets the girl keeps the girl and has no compunction about killing bad guys instead of letting them go to just to come back again and again. which is the very definition of insanity then this is the book series for you my friend. Oh and did I mention the girl kick butt too. Dig in you won't be disappointed in this one.
unique take on urban paranormal series. ..intriguing story with likable characters. Female voices can become a bit off & eerie ghost like tone but overall narration is good.
let me first state that every book before this book I've given three 5 stars. the story got a 4 star on this one for me not that it's a bad book or not entertaining I'm just not a big fan of the direction that part of the story took near the end.
"Just gets better!"
Loved this book! They just get better and better. I normally listen in the car but with this series I've just carried on listening in the house as I can't seem to turn them off. Looking forward to the next!
