Publisher's summary

Karen Marie Moning's "Fever" series is a coast-to-coast hit! The first two titles in this national best-selling series, Darkfever and Bloodfever, appeared on the New York Times, USA Today, and Publishers Weekly best-seller lists.

In Faefever, Karen Marie Moning returns to the shadowy Dublin Otherworld in an undeniably sexy novel her fans are feverish for.

Changed by the choices she made in order to survive, Mac no longer is the naïve, idealistic, and glamorous girl newly arrived in Dublin. Now, on a quest to find her sister's killer, she is a major player in a deadly game, but with one great advantage: she knows how to find the one thing Fae and human alike are willing to kill for - the Sinsar Dubh, an ancient book of magic so dark it corrupts anyone who touches it.

What Mac soon discovers, however, is worse than she had imagined. Surrounded by treachery, her enemies indistinguishable from her allies, she can be certain of only one thing - as All Hallows' Eve approaches, her time is running out.

I loved it!

I don't agree with many of the posts but we all have our own likes and dislikes. I could not hit the stop button and had to listen to the whole book in one sitting! and I have re listened to it trying to get some of the hints for the next book, will the dreamy eye boy play a bigger part, how will Mac... well you have to read or listen to it. It is part of a series and does leave you needing the next book, which personally I cant wait for! If you have troubles with instalments, you may wait till they all come out BUT I would in the end don't miss the series. I am counting the days to Dreamfever!

It's Mac and Barrons! Enough Said, I LOVE it!

What more needs to be said for Mac and Barron fans, its a series that I love. I have it both in print and audio because I love it. This series is a re-listen yearly at a minimum for me. It's just that good. If you haven't read this series give it a try. It is different but sexy as all get out. Freakin' love me some hardlovin' Barrons, gosh don't ya just want to know what he really is????? I mean, heck, what women wouldn't want to tame that or die trying, LOL...... Mac she is one crazy, blond, beautiful bad butt chic that kills it all, even wants to kill Barrons at times, well death by lovin'........hmmmmm makes for some crazy angst.

Love it.

This is an absolutely wonderful series. Great suspense. Joyce Bean does a great job with the different character voices. Wish she was around for books 4 & 5

Loved the story, disappointed in narrator

I thoroughly enjoy all of KMM's stories and this is the first one I picked as an audio book. Did not enjoy the narrator, made Mac sound like a petulant teenager. Luckily, I finished just as the next novel came out, but purchased the book instead of the audio. However, I hear a new female narrator came out for Mac's story in Dreamfever and KMM used the same gentleman that she used for the audio on the Highlander series. If you want to get the audio for the series I would recommend skipping this one, but purchasing the next book Dreamfever in audio. I've heard clips and it sounds wonderful.

The Fever Series

I loved every one of these books! The characters are interesting and well-developed. Moning does a fantastic job of keeping the story exciting, intriguing, sexy, and unpredictable. I downloaded all of the books to my phone so that I could listen whenever I had a few minutes, whether I was driving, working out, waiting in line somewhere, or folding laundry. Pretty addictive! I was so sorry when I reached the end. I'm starting her Highlander Series next.

Great Characters, But...

First let me say that I'm fond of the story and characters, but out of 19 chapters there maybe 9 chapters of story progression. The other 10 chapters are sentence after sentence of similes, metaphors and analogies. As much as I'd like to continue the series, I feel Moning is just milking us readers!
