It's okay, in a pinch

I feel like this book could have potential. I only listened to the first episode. I think it's a little unnecessarily crude and the writing isn't my favorite. The narrators are good, so that helps a lot. I also feel like there are a lot of similaries (so far) with many other story lines I have read or watched.

Creepy a la King

Season one, episode one introduces a series of unrelated characters, from different parts of the country experiencing
the same frightening phenomenon ending in a macabre conclusion begging explanation in episode two. The narration was engaging and the story was as creepy as a Stephen King novel! I am looking forward to episode two!

Keep On Your Toes With Sharp Ears

I completely enjoyed every second of this story keeping my attention and curiosity hungry for what's going to happen next, what are they going to do, how are they going to handle the situation.Overall I greatly appreciate the details that we're used to give a reader like me a feel of being in the story as I listened.

A good tease...

I bought this book because of R.C Bray. He is the best when it comes to book narrators. I was impressed with the other narrators also, but Bray is the best. I bought this book episode by episode because of the great deal on Audible. This first episode introduces you to the characters and gets you ready for the big mystery...nice tease, moving on to the second one.

Great storyline, decent performance

Overall, I enjoyed the story. A couple of the narrators were a bit difficult to listen to because it felt over acted, forced. Luca's narrator was just bizarre. I won't buy any more of this series but I won't use a return either.

OK, but I do not want to continue with series

This was pretty good, but did not engage my interest enough for me to embark on a multi book series. I did not get too attached to the characters. To be fair, if I went on with the book I may have gotten attached to a couple of the characters, but I was just not intrigued enough by the story to go forward. I am already invested in several series such as In Death, Orphan X, Jack Reacher, Monster Hunters, Agent Pendergast, Walt Longmire, The Undead, Lucas Davenport and Virgil Flowers to name my favorites, so . I don't need to add any more right now.

Grabbed me like the monster in the closet!

What happened? Almost everyone has vanished, but to where? How? Most importantly, why?

The different narrators keep the story fresh, alive and in your mind. This book sample had me scrambling to purchase the full Season 1. I am chomping at the bit to get to the next Season.

I am a woman who hated "Lost". I thought it was the stupidest premise ever and after the first show, I refused to watch more of it. It didn't grab me, the characters were not believable or likeable as far as I was concerned. Yesterday's Gone should have struck me the same way but it grabbed me with it's unique storyline.

Having several narrators was the best decision the Author/Publisher could have made, it makes this story really come alive.
