Publisher's summary

In his time at Area 51, Mike Turcotte has learned one thing: We are not alone. As part of an elite Special Forces team, the former Green Beret has encountered things that are well beyond human understanding. Now, two ancient rivals from another world are vying to dominate Earth, and Mike and his team must choose which army to side with. The key to averting the crisis lies in a single weapon: Excalibur. The mythical, legendary sword of King Arthur is real and can unlock a galactic power beyond what anyone - human or alien - has ever seen. And Mike must keep it from falling into the wrong hands.

The race to recover Excalibur will lead the players all across the globe - from the ancient pyramids to the Great Wall of China, from a fortress on Easter Island to the heights of Mount Everest - in a high-stakes game in which the fate of humanity is the ultimate prize.

Great story and wonderful narration.

What a huge difference great narration makes. The first few books were good but the book before this one had terrible narration it was hard to get through it.

This narrator did voices for the different character so you would know who was speaking. It was a very enjoyable experience I hope he’s narrating the next one.

Thanks,
Jewel 💎 please

Catching Uo

I started listening to this series a couple of years back and lost interest. But recently I wound my way back through the series and now am working my way to the end. Complicated. This story is complicated. It’s not a bad plot line with interesting developments. Works into all the UFO ideas with out getting lost in them. I think I can make it to the last book.

Fantastic and Exciting

I found this series by accident and really enjoyed the first book so much that I continued on. The narrator of the first three stories was fantastic, adding even more to the story itself, and drawing me in. The fourth and fifth book we're not narrated so well and I became a little discouraged but this book picks right back up with the same fantastic narration of the first three, with the narrator drawing you in with the emotion put into the lines and making you feel each character individually.

What's real and who's who?

Narrator was so bad I switched to reading.

So many myths and beliefs in the story to make sense of the unexplained. Plenty of twists and turns, nothing is at it seems...Nobody in this book is really who we think they are; not Mike, not Mualama, not Lisa. So who are they? More questions than answers.

But wait... there's more! The Truth!

BEATING A DEAD HORSE 2

What disappointed you about Excalibur?

Same to say as his Area 51 Grail... yuk

What do you think your next listen will be?

Not area 51 - 4, 5, 6, etc...

Would you be willing to try another one of Eric G. Dove’s performances?

If priced cheap with whisper sync.
Wouild not waste a credit.
Only the $2.99 kindle and $3.99 made Area 51 books 1, 2, 3 worth trying. Books 4, 5 not even worth the $7

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Couldn't keep going after repeat of story line of book 1, 2, 3, 4

Any additional comments?

See area 51 grail.

You just gotta love Turcotte

Where does Excalibur rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

of the area 51 series, excaliber has to be up there.

What other book might you compare Excalibur to and why?

it's like the last 3 in the area 51 series.

What about Eric G. Dove’s performance did you like?

i did eric's low, almost military-like voice. he changes his voice just enough w/ the other characters, but not too much to be annoying.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

heavens no. who does that?

Any additional comments?

this whole series is well worth it. you have to pay attention to catch all the details, but i wouldn't say it's a difficult listen nor is it terribly "intelligent". it's kinda like watching "independence day". it's fun times.
