Well, the Story was better than the first as he continued with great character background info and added more excitement to the Melee's. But, well I don't liked to go into details and ruin things so all I will say is the ending is non-existant. It would be like building up to a Show's Finale and then canceling it. No ends tied up no plot ending, the book just ended. Did the Author run out of time before print? Was hit by a bus? Did he forget what he was doing? Maybe his computer accidently deleted the last 3 chapters of the book...it happens.

This book is a sequel to Ex-Heroes and the craziness and excitement and adventures from the first book keep right on rolling into the second book.....recommend this author and all his books and now even going to look and see if there are any other books reading by the great narrators Jay Snyder and Khristine Hvam.

I have never read a zombie end of the world book until this one and I just loved it. I have read Ex Patriots as well - FABULOUS. Please hurry up with the 3rd one in the series, I hate waiting.

it's ok.

this book was just ok. however compared to the first book this was light-years better. there was no point I was lost, confused, or mad at the writing. I did find myself rolling my eyes from the to time, but over all if you need a book to listen to pick it up.

Great follow up to Ex-Heroes

The Ex-Heroes series has been one of my favorite books series of the last couple years and definitely my favorite Audible books so far. The characters are interesting, fun, and well acted by the voice talent. One would think the premise (zombie post-apocalypse with super heroes) would be campy beyond belief bu Clines does a great job of balancing the camp and silliness with relate-able characters and some authentically tense and serious moments. To put it another way, these books take the best elements of the recent super hero and zombie crazes in media and puts them together masterfully. I highly recommend this series to anyone with even the slightest interest in sci-fi, fantasy, or comic books.

Good listen

I enjoy the take on the mix of Zompocolypse, & super heroes. the military was well done, and so was the villain. the sorry sorry at the end was very enjoyable as well, but in a very different way.

Great, but half a story

This story didn't have as much development to it as the first book. Was slightly disappointing because I was looking for more. Almost seemed like half a book. Where the story should of continued on with an amazing ended it just seemed to fall flat. That being said what content is there was great. I'm looking forward to finding out how the hero's (and the unbreakables) progress.

The story is great, the voice work is spot on (multiple actors), and I'm grabbing the rest of the series right now!

Ex-Patriots was definitely a step up from the first book. The Ex-Heroes was good but this one is better. Peter Clines has great talent, and the narration was superb.

Solid sequel- enjoyed it more than the first

Good character development and nice twist. Sucked me in enough to read the 3rd book.
