Love the character development and evolving storyline throughout the series. A very enjoyable time listening on my long trip to work. I've gone through the series at least twice so far and it's just as good as the first time. I recommend to all those that love zombies and superheroes.
Audio book lover with sci-fi leanings
Well crafted story that makes great use of the main characters while also introducing and focusing on some older favorites. Also, go corpse girl!
I completely love the story. In the continuation of the ex series Peter Clines has done a wonderful job of continuing the storyline. I found it very enjoyable to see how Captain Freedom has progressed as a character, as well as seeing stealth as a person. Kudos to Mr Clines
All the books in this series have been amazing and this one was definitely no exception! the narrating, character development, and plot were, as I said before AWESOME!!!
Third book in the series and loving every minute of the ride. This series deserves an awesome adult animation special on NetFlix.
I enjoy spy, military, psychological, technical and fiction based in reality and science. I really value intimate, thorough writing.
The narrator's charisma as Max. He really embodied the character.
Max because he was so well written and voiced. He was larger than life but very relateble and human. He was a combination of ego, fear, confidence and dark humor.
Max's Charisma, George's heroism, Dead Girl's innocence. It was all in the voices even if the amazing writing hadnt told you.
Alot of Max's dark humor made me chuckle.
i HATE magic because it not being relateble makes it hard to feel and enjoy but WOW. The magic elements in this book were written so well and used in such an interesting manner that it not negated my bias but overwhelmed it.
Having different and diverse characters narrated by multiple people.
Too many to mention.
No. It takes a lot to move me. I need to diet.
I got the first book in the series for entertainment between big books, but I found I really enjoy these stories.
Love the story line and the ending of each book leaves me wanting to hear more
I would definitely recommend it, there's such a wide array of heroes its hard to choose a favourite. Ex-Communication in particular did a wonderful job of bringing up events from the first and second book and making them new problems or ideas.
I really enjoyed the heroes' humor, specifically Zzzap's Yugioh reference to Snyder's previous work in the anime show.
Snyder, Hvam and Boyett give the characters life and their delivery as the individual characters is great.
There were many times I laughed and chuckled as the heroes gave snarky responses. I might not have cried, but I came close. Many times I was worried for the safety of the heroes as they were in danger.
The transition to a very new plot idea in this book compared to the previous two paid off well. The problems the heroes faced were very different, but still very well written and exciting and kept me on the edge of my seat til the very end. I cannot wait to read the next book!
