As good as I remembered

I read this book several years ago and have loved it ever since. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the audio version as well. I haven't read/listened to the other books in the series yet, but I'm excited to read more about the Enderverse

It's a brilliant story that many times I had slipped, because usually I'm not into military-style science fiction. I am happy that I read it and curious how the series continues

Excellent read

Great story, detail and narration. I've loved this book since highschool. the movie was close, but a movie could never do this story justice.

Ender

Very entertaining production. Great narration, though I got a little confused keeping the voices all straight.

Not every thing is what it seems.

I really liked this book, I feel that what started as a story full of games and science fiction turned into way more , truly a book for the generations to come .

Classic SciFi, Great Book, Good Audio

This is a book I’ve had on my read list for years. I mostly read science fiction or fantasy, so this has been on my radar. I was a bit unsure about an audiobook with more than one narrator. I don’t like dramatical readings with music and stuff. Not to worry, this was enjoyable. It read pretty much like one narrator, and I found the secondary narrators pleasing. For this book, it worked.

This was also a book I read AFTER watching the movie. I did that with The Martian as well. Much like The Martian, the storyline of the book went pretty well in line with the movie. The book was just more in-depth. I liked that there was more to the book.

This was an enjoyable read/listen. Ender’s Game is an easy read, but there is also a lot of depth. I don’t typically want depth in an audio, as it’s difficult to read over parts again or pause for reflection. I didn’t find it necessary here. Even without reading into the depth, this was a good story. It’s up to the reader with how deep they want to go. I feel like this is a book I could read in print and definitely get a lot more out of it.

Anyway, I highly recommend this book. I waited too long to read it myself.

Enders game is great and all but the masterpiece comes after

Enders game is well written, the narration is great, but Speaker for the Dead is hands down one of the greatest novels ever written. It grips you and demands your attention from start to finish. Enders game is a mere side note in comparison

Classic

I read this book for the first time 20+ years ago, and it still keeps my interest. Great story, great pace, great character development - this is the definition of a good book.
