Good Story to Tease the Paranormal

I love paranormal stories and this book was right up there in the top 10. The different perspective of the nightwalkers and their abilities intregued me. The story intertwines characters from other books whicn peaks my interest to read more of them to find out what happens next. The narrator was very good with accents and tone, bringing the characters to life.

As good as Jacob, better than Gideon.

After Gideon's book I wasn't sure I was going to continue on with this series, it was so boring. But I wanted to read Elijah's story, especially since it has lycanthropes (my favorites) in it. Yes this book is better, more in the line of Jacob. So if you liked the first book you will enjoy this one too. I really liked the hair concept, of how it is a living part of a lycanthrope, kinda like a medusa. Overall I did enjoy this book. Although I'm not in a hurry to read the next, so I just might wait for a sale. As I have stated before Xe Sands is not my favorite narrator. It not her voice but her speed of reading that really gets me. If she would speed up just a bit, maybe she wouldn't put me to sleep. I might be in the minority here, but she is not my favorite narrator.

This is a great read and you want to keep reading.

Would you consider the audio edition of Elijah to be better than the print version?

I don't know, I haven read it only listen to it. I do usually like both. I love to turn it on in the car and clean house to them. It makes time go by and fun. Thank you.

What did you like best about this story?

Hit had a lot of depth and was fun to read.

What about Xe Sands’s performance did you like?

She played the voices well for the characters. I got lost in the story.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Never say never.

FANTASTIC

Like chocolate for the mouth, this author is beyond eloquent and deep. The narrator is like sweet melody and the romance is strong as it holds onto all most powerful values of true integrity. I enjoyed the book immensely, something to last within me.

Sensual

This is by far the most sensual of the first three books in the series! I loved how these two were brought together- very clever and possibly the only way I can see them be able to have the time they needed with each other in order to overcome their prejudices.

Spectacular

You will fall in love with the nightwalkers and follow along side them and their journeys must read and narration is phenomenal!!!!

Hot and Sexy!

The chemistry between these two characters were hot and heavy especially in the cave scene. It's a must listen!

Intense, Sexy, Consuming.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the fact that his female mate was not an easy conquest for him, even though she deeply desired him.

Have you listened to any of Xe Sands’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, I have listened to other books in the Nightwalker series and I absolutely love this narrator.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
