unexpected
Crossovers are often hard to manage because the characters have to mesh within the world. i think that having a "new" world created for this setting -- made up of bits and pieces of their own worlds -- helped. I do feel like this Jane isn't really "our" Jane at times.

poor sound editing
I was surprised by the editing of the two narrators throughout the short story. It did not sound like one smooth storytelling. Gabra's voice was mostly too soft and, unless it was an entire scene with Jane, her voice came in super loud. There were weird empty moments too. I enhoyed the story but the performance quality really took a lot away from it for me.

Thank you Jane for introducing me to Jo.
I love the Jane Yellowrock Series, but had not heard of C.E. Murphy. I decided to try Murphy's Walker Paper series when I found Easy Pickins. I waited to read this book until after I found out if I liked the Walker Paper series. I fell in love with the WP series. So Easy Pickins is like watching your 2 best friends meet for the first time and realizing that the three of you will have a great time every time you can all get together.

Fun and lots of laughs
I've listened to this book at
least eight times and always laughed and enjoyed the story and narration. Great cross over story. would love more like this.

This story was enjoyable
I enjoyed the story but the only thing that bothered me is that sometimes when a character would respond a second or two after it was expected. Also the quality of the recording was not the same so it was a bit off from time to time. After realizing what was going on I could push that to the side and enjoy the story.

Technical weirdness
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes but with a warning...there is no back and forth with these narrators. Even the sound levels are different. One almost too loud and the other way too soft.
