Publisher's summary
In this first-in-a-series urban fantasy, sexy private eye Gaia Charmer brings new meaning to the words "Earth Angel."
This mysterious (and bipolar) bombshell has the power of the Earth itself at her fingertips, but the murder of her best friend knocks her world off its axis. Out for blood on the killer's trail, Gaia and a tough-as-nails rock hound sheriff must overcome Landkind - a secret society of movers and shakers with the hearts and minds of landforms (mountains, rivers, islands, etc.) - and a vicious enemy with the key to her true identity. She risks everything to reclaim her legacy as Mother Earth in human form.
A woman with the weight of the world on her shoulders in more ways than one.

A nice Surprise!
What made the experience of listening to Earthshaker the most enjoyable?
I don’t usually read/listen to sci-fi, but because of the Earth theme, I thought I’d give it a listen. I’m a literal tree hugger, so I connected to the story very much. It is fantasy, but the driven point is an important one to me. I thought the narrator did a great job. Her voice was a perfect match for the main character, but I especially enjoyed how she brought all the other characters to life.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I loved Ayan, the scientist. His role was small, but it cracked me up.
Have you listened to any of Joell A. Jacob’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is the first book I've heard by Joell A. Jacob. I loved all of her characters! And just the way she told the story in general was so easy to listen to. I'll definitely look for more of her books.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It made me laugh, it almost made me cry and I was entertained the whole time. What else can I ask for?
Any additional comments?
I hope a lot of people listen to this. It's message to remember we are all connected to the survival of our planet is shown in an easy and entertaining way.
