Dream Dark: Booktrack Edition adds an immersive musical soundtrack to your audiobook listening experience!*
When Link joined his best friend, Ethan Wate, on a quest through a mysterious network of underground passageways endlessly crisscrossing the South, he knew the journey would be dangerous. But returning home to Gatlin, South Carolina, was just the beginning.
Wounded during a climactic battle, Link discovers that tending his injuries won't be as simple as visiting a doctor and that healing his arm should be the least of his worries. For being bitten by a Supernatural does more than break the skin - it changes a person inside and out, turning Link into someone more and more like the dark creature who injured him.
In this never-before-heard short story by New York Times best-selling authors Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl, listeners witness Link's heart-racing transformation. Dream Dark is set before the much-anticipated third Beautiful Creatures novel, Beautiful Chaos, and as a special bonus includes an exclusive sneak peek at the first five chapters.

I enjoy the these stories, Gatlin is a perfect setting. The ambient background effects from booktrack helped the story pop.
Loved this version with the soundtrack to go along with the narration. Sounded amazing and sets the mood and tone of the story much more deeply.
I haven't listened to these Beautiful Creatures stories before. I wasn't sure about the narrator at the start but I really liked the background music and effects from the Booktrack.
The combination of a very interesting story, impeccable narration and a wonderful mood-enhancing sound track made this a very enjoyable experience.
The description of Link's metamorphosis into Linkubus or an incubus.
Getting an up close look at a day in the life of Link, including subpar biscuits and white gravy. Oh, no, not white gravy!
When Link's mom drags him to see the doctor and have Link tested for steroid abuse. Especially when a parent thinks their child has been doing something wrong and/or not healthy.
The sound track was perfect for the atmosphere of this book.
Honestliy, I'd listen to this one again just for the soundtrack
Yes, I screamed during Link's battle!
You've gotta try a book with one of these soundtracks. I love it!
Liked how the soundtrack added a new level of depth and emotion to the voice narration.
