AWESOME SAUCE!!!!
Ward is awesome!!! I have read all of Patricia Briggs stories. and I have loved them all!! Ward of hurog is a great character!! I happen to love period pieces and this just speaks to me on that level! swords, dragons and a great characters!!!! I wish Patricia Briggs would write more of WARD OF HUROG!!!! Also, I thought the narrator was great, his voice seemed to fit!! alot of narrators just read over the intent of the sentence or the needed inflection of voice. He did great!!

Dragon Bones a Very Original Fantasy Novel
Dragon Bones is a very original and refreshing fantasy novel ... not surprising, since Patricia Briggs' other series are all unique and original within their genera. Anyone who loves a good team of characters on a quest should enjoy it. I plan to read the next book right away!

Oh my god
Historical setting, fantasy everywhere, bromance, painful pasts, and an intelligent main character, what more could you ask for??? It's one of those stories where you have to pay attention otherwise you're gonna be lost after 30 seconds. Great flow, awesome narrator, and good battle scenes (though I wouldn't have minded more). It felt very different from Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson series and the Alpha and Omega series, but in a beautifully perfect way. If there is a sequel or if there are any plans for a sequel to this, I'm 100% there. 👏👏👏

One of my favorite books!
I love this book and I have read and listened to it multiple times. This book stands alone but the second one (Dragon blood) is very good as well. Great characters, plot twists and adventure.

This book did not disappoint! I am a fan of the author, but stick to reading (and re-reading) her well known book series. I should have known that no matter what Patricia Briggs writes would be absolutely amazing!

Can't wait for the Sequel
I loved this book, and I thought Joe Manganiello gave a fabulous reading performance. As always in her books, Briggs skillfully creates viewpoint characters who have weaknesses, yet who are undeniably heroes. As to the rape backstory -- She never glamorizes these attacks. The heroes overcome this ultimate mental and physical assault after a difficult battle. You never have any doubt that the rapists are villains who deserve what the heroes eventually do to them. I love plots in which characters overcome their own weaknesses and prove just how great they really are. That's why I adore Patricia Briggs, and list her as one of my personal writing goddesses.
