Publisher's summary

Mickey is startled to find a statue of Rose in a museum; a statue that is 2,000 years old. The Doctor realises that this means the TARDIS will shortly take them to Ancient Rome, but when it does, he and Rose soon have more on their minds than sculpture. While the Doctor searches for a missing boy, Rose befriends a girl who claims to know the future; a girl whose predictions are surprisingly accurate. But then the Doctor stumbles on the hideous truth behind the statue of Rose, and Rose herself learns that you have to be very careful what you wish for. Featuring the Doctor and Rose as played by David Tennant and Billie Piper in the acclaimed hit series from BBC Television.

Perfect Narration!

Tennant is such a good, lively narrator and this story is so in the style of Ten's era of Doctor Who that this audiobook is just a delight to listen to.

Fun romp through Ancient Rome, w/10th Doctor Flair

A bit of intrigue, finding a perfect statue of Rose, leads down a rabbit hole. Overall a very enjoyable ride.

Womderful

I loved this book. it was so good, and David Tennant's gift for making the different voices is amazing. I'm not usually a listen to a book kind of person, but I couldn't take myself away from this one until I was done 2 times! It is now one of my favorite books ❤❤❤❤

A fun distraction

I am a big Doctor Who fan and possibly bigger David Tennant fan. The story was true to Doctor Who form and read perfectly. I also liked that they interviewed the author at the end. I'd recommend if you are a Doctor Who fan.

Great! Shoulda been filmed

First: David Tennant is an excellent verbal actor. Sure, you're getting this because you liked Doctor 10. But stay for the fact that his vocal characterizations are excellent (and, when they're characters with whom we're familiar like Rose or Mickey, dead on). Narrator David Tennant speaks in his natural Scottish accent, while the Tenth Doctor speaks in his BBC voice. This alone is worth your cash.

Second: This is an excellent story. Complex while not overly contrived. Well described. Neat plot twists. Works in overall continuity well (later 1/2 of series 2, I think). It's got time and space, and some funky timey-wimey-ness that makes it fun.

They have done it again!!!

This is a fantastic book, wonderfully read by the Doctor Himself, David Tennant. This book has it all, the past the present and the future like only Doctor who can. This is the cream of the crop. Not to be missed

Great story. Love afterward.

Great storyline. I would love to read/listen to a full length Doctor Who novel (9th Doctor please!) from her.
