Critic reviews

"Sin, a Sumerian fertility god turned Vegas casino owner, and Kat, the zealous servant of bossy Greek goddess Artemis, knock boots and kick butt in Kenyon's juicy...paranormal love-fest." ( Publishers Weekly)

devil may cry

loved the book. Didn't love the narrator because he pronounced the characters names different than all the other books in the series thus far. that was a distraction for me. however, this is my favorite book in the series yet. happy listening!

Narrator needs work

Any additional comments?

Can we say study the names of characters before we record. The narrator butchered the names of characters just terrible. Even worse the editing company did not catch it or someone tell him.. HELLO

Highly entertaining

Wonderful narration amplifies the witty dialogue between the characters. I hope this narrator will perform in more of her books. I had many chuckles. The placing of the ancient Gods and demons in contemporary setting created lots of opportunities for laughs. Highly entertaining.

Details matter!

I wish that the narrator would have pronounced the names properly, expecially Acheron. It made me crazy when I knew how his name should be pronounced and I kept focusing on that while listening to the book. Also, I missed Acheron's accent. However, once you got past that the book was enjoyable.

Another good book.

I enjoy this series. It is like brain candy, one book is not enough. The narrator has a great voice and does the characters well, but sometimes stumbles over the way names or words should be pronounced. As I have read most of these books myself, as well as listened to another narrator who pronounces them the way I would, it takes a bit to get over hearing them done differently.
The story is good, so I stuck with it.
