Publisher's summary

Now it's the turn of the weres and shifters to follow the lead of the undead and reveal their existence to the ordinary world. Sookie Stackhouse already knows about them, of course - her brother turns into a panther at the full moon, she's friend to the local Were pack, and Sam, her boss at Merlotte's bar, is a shifter.

At first, the great Were revelation seems to go well - then the horribly mutilated body of a were-panther is found outside Merlotte's. Though Sookie never cared that much for the victim, no one deserves such a horrible death, so she agrees to use her telepathic talent to track down the murderer.

But what Sookie doesn't realise is that there is a far greater danger than this killer threatening Bon Temps: a race of unhuman beings, older, more powerful and far more secretive than the vampires or the werewolves is preparing for war....

Loved It

Any additional comments?

Great narration. I like to list this first as it can make or break a story.

Loved this story. Easy listerning and very entertaining. Will be impatiently waiting for any new books in audio from this author.

I really enjoy it when readers with similar reading interests list their favourite authors and series. It really helps me find new authors too follow. Mine are Charlaine Harris, Jeaniene Frost, Jennifer Estep, Faith Hunter, Molly Harper, Ilona Andrews, Kresley Cole, Deborah Harkness, Nalini Singh, Coreene Callahan and Sherrilyn Kenyon.

Happy Reading

Excellent

I listened to all nine stories in a week having just discovered the fun of audio books on my ipod. Love the series.
Dead & Gone continues the storyline and expands further on Sookie's fairy heritage and we find out a little more about Eric - always a bonus. I always thought fairy's were too good to be true.
Looking forward to the new one in May.

Very good

After the disappointing (IMO) "From Dead to Worse", this is one of the stronger parts in the series. Nevertheless, sometimes I'm surprised how Sookie can miss some obvious hints as to what's going to happen next (the same was with the summit's surprise in "All Together Dead"). Well, otherwise, there would be no fun, right?

Again, -1 star for the poor quality of the audio. :( (BTW, did anyone else notice Johanna Parker lost the accent that Eric used to have e.g. in part 1?)

I love the Sookie Stackhouse Series!

I love everything Charlaine Harris does and this is no exception! What a great listen! Thoroughly enjoyable and of course snaps to the narrator who, as always, does a fantastic job!
