Good audiobook I remember the movie over 30 years ago. It’s a little different but still very good!

An oldie but a goodie

Narrator was awesome and although I've read this book multiple times, it's still so entertaining.

The utmost classic

I've seen the film, getting the story told is just amazing! With small changes, it remains fresh and invigorating. Must listen for Romero acolytes.

this is my first zombie audiobook

I didn't like the book. I gave it 4 stars because my dislike for it wasn't about pour audio, or any thing like that. the man reading it was ok. his imitation of women was just awkward but he still made the point clear. the story line is what I'm on the fence about. I've seen tons of movies and the book just starts mid scene and even ends mid scene. maybe I just don't know what I was expecting. I'm currently wondering if this is part of a series. overall, a decent listen and definitely has many suspenseful moments that are enjoyable.

Adds to the movie.

I'm huge fan of dawn of the dead. This book adds more information about characters and setting. The narrator was perfect. I felt like was watching the movie with added scenes. Great job on the book.

it's like the directors cut of the movie

this audio book is like the directors cut of the old movie. it's basically word for word, scene for scene the original script. great for anyone who hasn't already seen the movie four hundred times.

started off great! slowed down a little at the end. overall I thought it was great. would buy it all over again.

Perfect for fans of the film.

I'm a HUGE fan of Dawn of the Dead (1978), but for some reason I've never read the book. After listening to the reading sample, I was all in.

What I love about the book is it fleshes out the characters even more than they already are. It doesn't change motivations at all, but it adds to the motivations. Plus, there are additional 'scenes' in the book that aren't in the film so it's making it somewhat new again.

The performance by Jonathan Davis is fantastic. I don't know if he's a fan of the movie, but he certainly acted it out like he is and it made the experience all the better.

Definitely recommend this to horror fans in general and fans of Dawn of the Dead in particular.
