Loved the story and the narrator!

First of all, I love this story line because of the difference between immortals and vampires. normally, books with vampires are all the same, so this just gave me a little more interest. the narrator was easy to listen to and I didn't find it hard to finish the book. I can't wait to start the second book!

it's just like the ones about the carpathions

good ones fighting the bad ones..gifted instead of physics. same story line type but I like them.

One of my favorites. Roland is so sweet and anti-social,so endearing. I wouldn't mind a Roland for myself at all.

I absolutely love this one I couldn't stop listening and now I wish I taken a little more time because I regret that it's over this was a great book and great narration.

Absolutely Worth the Credit/Cash

I'm glad that I didn't listen to some of the aweful reviews of some writing dissertations about realistic non- occurrences of a fantasy romance book. If we wanted real life we'd choose a different genre of book. I loved the story! This was just what I'd been searching for after reading Ruby Dixon's Bound to the Battle God (Awesome BTW) The narrator was completely relevant and I appreciated all of the details that was put into the characters. I can't wait to read the book in the series. please take a chance and enjoy.

Wonderful And Addicting Series!

Would you listen to Darkness Dawns again? Why?

Yes! This is my second go round with this series and I love it! Dianne Duvall has written a world for these Vampires and their family wonderfully!! I love that it's different, not your typical Vampires and I like the twist with their leader Seth. I also like how passionately they love there mates! The Narrator, Kirsten Potter, is one of my favorites and with her different accents and voices, you can't but be transported into the world while you listen!

What did you like best about this story?

The fact that Dianne Duvall has so uniquely blended all of the characters so you come to really enjoy each of them and their individual quirks and talents.

Which scene was your favorite?

Not sure I have a favorite the entire book held my interest from the first page to the last!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It definitely has it's moments of comic relief! One moment you will be seriously engrossed in what is happening the next you are laughing or smiling at their sense of humors. Very well written in that regard!

Any additional comments?

I don't understand all of the negative comments about this series, it's fresh and unique and well worth the read!! I look forward with anticipation every time a new book in the series comes out and I mark down time in my busy schedule to read!!

Loved this book!

I really enjoyed this book! The plot might seem predictable overall but to me it actually has a lot of mystery and pre-cursor for the books to come. I loved the simplicity of the two lead love interest❤️🥰
One of the delights of this book was the comedy! I found myself laughing in unexpected moments which made me happy!
I loved the other characters such as Marcus and Seth, David and Bastian I can feel there is going to be good stories coming out from then❤️🙌🏽

Action, Romance, Suspense

I like the balance between action, romance and suspense. The narration was excellent, loved the accent. Now I am ready for the next book in the series. I recommend this audiobook to anyone who loves the paranormal romance genre.

I loved the story

I loved it. I couldn't stop listening. checked all of the boxes. He wasn't overbearing and she was a strong female role. *possible spoilers ( I am trying not to!)

Thank you for keeping just enough drama to keep me hooked but not too much where I felt hopeless with the communication b/w the couple.

I also liked your version of the lore. I haven't heard that version before and throughly enjoyed it. very logical al and believeable. great read!

Great start to the series!

Great beginning to this series! I loved meeting all these characters! Now I read this many years ago and have even listened to it more than once. I enjoy the broody Roland and the open hearted (dont push her around) Sarah. This one started them all down a path they never want to return from. Kristen Potter is amazing as all these different people. She rocks the narration!
