Wonderful &Satisfying

fun break from full novels & series. Lovable characters you can relate to quickly & easily whether you have read the Sookie books or not.

It was fun

As a die hard Sookie fan, it was nice to delve back into that world, even if only for a couple of hours. I was always curious about the Britlingens so it was interesting to me.

5 stars for the first story, 1 star for the second

Dancers in the Dark was a great story set in the Sookieverse. I really enjoyed the characters and although I feel that there were some mispronunciations in the book I enjoyed the narration too. The 2nd story about some side security guard characters (who were involved in the Hotel explosion) was terrible...I was bored with the story and the characters, it's only 2-3 hours, but I would have rather paid for a 3 hour book without that story than a 5 hour with....

there is more in " Lela Steps Up " but you must read it because it is not on Audible.

Weird second story

I liked the first story, but it threw me off to have a second story in there that just didn’t seem to go with the first.
