Welcome to Liberty, South Carolina - Population 3,070. "Where neighbors become friends." Located in the northwest corner of the state, it is just a small town like any other you might find in the United States. Then the dead rise and attack the living. As the nation and the rest of the world falls to this terrible apocalypse, the people of Liberty come together and decide to stand against the tide of undeath and lawlessness that spreads so fast. They quickly discover that the zombies are only a very small part of the problem. Will the men and women of Liberty, South Carolina, be able to unify against all the forces that seek to drag them kicking and screaming to the pits of hell? And what price are they willing to pay in order to ensure their own survival?

Please if you have a good book you want a review for let me know and send me a copy :)
this book has a great view of a town trying to survive the zombie apocalypse. I think the author did a good job of conveying the dangers, and shortcomings of the zombie apocalypse but also how working together you can try to survive.
I received this book free in return for a unbiased review.
This book ranks in the middle of the DEAD books i have listened to.
I liked the huge accident scene at the beginning. I actually listened to it twice since it was so jaw dropping and awesome.
no i don't believe i have listened to any other performances by Pamela Lorence. At first i wasn't too sure of it, but after a bit and i got used to her it was great!
How will Liberty fare when the worst happens all around them?
The ending of the book left me feeling a bit lost. What was coming? what was happening? How will the town handle what's coming? What about the baby? I want to know what happens next ;)
I had questions on why the first zombies the police and mayor came across they were totally aware of the tracers and were not really shocked to see the strange eyes. i was expecting a little bit more explanation of tracers and all that near the beginning more since it is a bit more of a stand alone, but i did love that it included mentions of characters we have met and heard about in the other books in the DEAD series
Not much I can add that hasn't already been written. Not just a good zombie book, but a good book in general. Really great narration too.
A good listen makes for an amazing day!
Yes, loved the cast of characters and the plot. It was fast paced, and enthralling.

Yet another great book by TW Brown! I really enjoy the Snapshot series. This book is fast paced and full of action. The narrator did a good job.

I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator. I love most zombie books and I love T.W. Brown's world so this was a nice addition to those stories. It was a nice little one-shot story about a small town and how the people there try to deal with zombies and the horrible humans left in the world. You feel bad for them, knowing they have a hard road ahead but you cheer for them too, wanting them to make it.
It's hard to pick one character I liked over the others. I guess I'd have to pick Jaimie. She was forced to be the mayor of the town without any experience and then the zombies came and she had to make the tough decisions to keep the people of Liberty safe. It was never easy and she made mistakes but it's what made her human.
Pamela does such a good job on giving each character their own voice, making them unique enough that you could tell them apart without being told, so I don't think I can pick one over the others. She makes you feel what they're going through, the hard decisions, the pain if something goes bad and you find yourself worrying that they may die before the end of the book (some do). I think she gives just the right tone to each character and when there's action, Pamela gets the tenseness of the situation right.
It was, though it's too long to really do that. I wanted to find out what happened to each character, if they'd live or die and if the town would be able to survive not just the zombies but the raiders. When the biker gang showed up, I didn't know for sure if the town would realize their mistake in time and I was angry when so many people lost their lives because they were too trusting. It was hard when the town had to turn people away, the ending especially but you knew there was no other choice. In a situation like that, you can't take everyone in and you can't save everyone.
There's a lot of action in this book, even more than some of the rest of the Dead series books and it keeps you interested for the whole thing. There's a lot of blood and gore and violence, so if that's not your thing you might want to avoid it but if you love zombies and understand you'll be seeing a lot of that (or expect it) then you definitely need to give this one a shot. Especially if you're like me and loved the Dead series already.
Say something about yourself!
What an ending! Wow! Another great zombie audio book. A lot of action from start to finish. I really enjoy this author and his books. I received this audio book for free for an honest review.
I absolutely love this series of books. I can't say enough about them. This is your classic zombie novel. If you were squeamish or graphic things disturb you this probably isn't for you, but I absolutely love it. The only thing negative that I can say about this series of books is I wish there was an easier way to follow the characters from book to book that you become involved with. That doesn't mean that I am not going to get everyone of the books in the series though.

DEAD: Snapshot--Liberty, South Carolina
: TW Brown
This fast paced book takes the listeners from the beginning of the zombie Apocalypse to the full on siege. The small town of Liberty, South Carolina bands together to try and survive. So sad and scary at the same time. I hadn't discovered this author until this book caught my attention. I'll be looking for more.
The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. Pamela Lorence did a fine job of narrating this book.
