What an ending! Wow! Another great zombie audio book. A lot of action from start to finish. I really enjoy this author and his books. I received this audio book for free for an honest review.
I am just girl who loves my husband, dogs, shopping online and books!
To me this book, started off kind of slow. it was faced paced, but it didn't really get me into it till about mid way. I m glad I stuck with it though.
I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.
Prolific reader and listener of books of all kinds.
This book is another installment in the Dead 12 book + series. At 10 hours this weighs in as another book and not a vignette. It has been awhile since I read/listened to the books in this series. That being said, this book seemed much bleaker than the other books. Don't get attached to any of the characters, they may be gone in the next page or chapter. The book ends not with a whimper, but with a bang.
Overall a pretty realistic portrayal of what would happen in a disaster scenario be it zombies, EMP or Yellowstone going up in ash. Things are bad and get worse. The light at the end of the tunnel is only an oncoming train. Probably the only complaint is that the bad guys are a bit sterile and not as utterly bad as people would be in a total breakdown of society.
A good effort in an ongoing sage by a NW Author and well narrated as well.

I absolutely love this series of books. I can't say enough about them. This is your classic zombie novel. If you were squeamish or graphic things disturb you this probably isn't for you, but I absolutely love it. The only thing negative that I can say about this series of books is I wish there was an easier way to follow the characters from book to book that you become involved with. That doesn't mean that I am not going to get everyone of the books in the series though.

DEAD: Snapshot--Liberty, South Carolina
: TW Brown
This fast paced book takes the listeners from the beginning of the zombie Apocalypse to the full on siege. The small town of Liberty, South Carolina bands together to try and survive. So sad and scary at the same time. I hadn't discovered this author until this book caught my attention. I'll be looking for more.
The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. Pamela Lorence did a fine job of narrating this book.

This book ranks in the middle of the DEAD books i have listened to.
I liked the huge accident scene at the beginning. I actually listened to it twice since it was so jaw dropping and awesome.
no i don't believe i have listened to any other performances by Pamela Lorence. At first i wasn't too sure of it, but after a bit and i got used to her it was great!
How will Liberty fare when the worst happens all around them?
The ending of the book left me feeling a bit lost. What was coming? what was happening? How will the town handle what's coming? What about the baby? I want to know what happens next ;)
I had questions on why the first zombies the police and mayor came across they were totally aware of the tracers and were not really shocked to see the strange eyes. i was expecting a little bit more explanation of tracers and all that near the beginning more since it is a bit more of a stand alone, but i did love that it included mentions of characters we have met and heard about in the other books in the DEAD series
Not much I can add that hasn't already been written. Not just a good zombie book, but a good book in general. Really great narration too.
I only recently found this series and started off by reading Dead: Perspectives Vol 1 and on loving that, I got this one. This is just as good as the other series and I devoured this in just over a day!
This follows the story of not just one person, not even a few, but of a full community from Liberty, South Carolina. We get to see what a full town of people will do when the dead start rising. Can they come together and save their community?
It's hard to say much about the plot of this as there really is a lot going on and there are so many different characters that I may spoil something. I will say that it is a fast paced, intense, action packed and entertaining read. The characters were all well written and developed and easy to like and I found myself becoming invested in their stories. Even with there being so many different characters, the plot flowed nicely and I never found myself confused as to who was taking at any given time.
In all, this was a great addition to the DEAD world. I always love finding a great Zombie book that focuses on one group of survivours as apposed to a whole lot of different groups. I feel that it's easier to become invested in their stories. I look forward to listening to more in this series.
Pamela Lorence did a great job with the narration. With so many characters, it's often hard for a narrator to keep the story flowing, but this narrators has no problems. She gave each character their own personality!
I received a free copy of this but voluntarily reviewed it. This in no way affected nor influenced my thoughts.
A good listen makes for an amazing day!
Yes, loved the cast of characters and the plot. It was fast paced, and enthralling.
