SHORT AND CREEPY ! ! !

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yeah ... why not. It was an interesting and curiously engaging audio book, if not a bit juvenile. Loved the narrators voice (Destiny Landon) which had an intelligent and enticing mannerism which made you want to keep listening ... Cupids "Curse" (name gives hint of the outcome - Ha) was a simple story with a creepy twist. Other than her hotness and a slight sense of vulnerability she kept hidden, Bambi was the lead character that left much to be desired. But then Kyle was kind of the same as far as integrity goes, it seems. The story was so short you didn't get a firm sense or clarity of each character as individuals. The main focus was how 'hot' each one was to the opposite sex, and their "hedonistic animal magnetism' for each other ruled. Pure physical attraction for a release going on here. What kept my interest was wanting to see if the two main characters would find any kind of connection Bambi was "hoping" for, beyond the physical release and hedonistic desires they both had for each other.

Kyle was "immature" and a dropout. If the story went on a little longer to explain how Kyle came to be "who" he is, and why he has no ambition beyond flying around on his skateboard and his great looks, the audience may have connected more with him, and cheered him on.

A typical male fantasy, to make love to a vampire, and survive the feat! If this goal is on your bucket list - - then LISTEN ON !!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Cupid's Curse?

Shall I repeat my favorite - word-for-word?? 'We'll always have Valentines Day (GULP!!!)"

What does Destiny Landon bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Intelligent and engaging voice that compelled you to listen to what you don't want to miss.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It makes you "think" before going "anywhere" with a beautiful girl who just "shows up from out of no where" licking a lollipop and asking you to take a ride in her red Ferrari!I did feel a bit of sadness when Kyle looked at her like a 'hurt child'. That was a poignant phrase, but those were few and far between in this story. This author, Joel Andre, structures this clever story with a build up of tension, a good twist, and a bit here and there of empathy.
