Publisher's summary

A corporate mercenary wakes in a reconstructed body, a beautiful woman by his side. Then Hosaka Corporation reactivates him, for a mission more dangerous than the one he's recovering from: to get a defecting chief of R&D-and the biochip he's perfected-out intact. But this proves to be of supreme interest to certain other parties-some of whom aren't remotely human.

another great cyberpunk voyage.

Gibson is amazing at filling out his world and not using same characters each time. the nods to neuromancer was great and the new characters felt as real as molly and chase did.

excellent time defying storytelling

Gibson continues to capture the raw reality and motivation of his characters thoughts and actions. A classic must read.

Genre creating

The cyberpunk prose, understated and individual stories weaving together in a complex tapestry of larger themes and ideas, and an incredible vocal performance, one of the best audiobooks I’ve ever listened to!

Excellent performance

I don’t know how I missed reading William Gibson before now. Story is excellent. Narration is outstanding. Neuromancer was a great book as well, but the narration for Count Zero is outstanding. Highly recommended.

fantastic reading

the narrator is the best narrator I've ever heard for any of the audio books that I've listened to. He does an amazing job bringing Gibson's world to life.

one of my favorite books. Best Gibson work

Love the characters and the premise of this book. It has aged well. The best of the sprawl books.

Better than Neuromancer.

Great story. My guess is this is where the writers for 'The Matrix' got some of their inspiration. I think this was better than Neuromancer.

Incredible cyber journey

Amazing story. At 5h 17m, though, the intro music played to introduce chapter 17 as if this were a multi file download. A quick edit can fix this issue.

A stand alone, worthy of the first boon.

As the title auggests, this is a good book no doubt, not as good as the firs one but a worthy successor nonetheless.

It starts out a bit har do follow, but youll soon get the hang of the storytelling, as you get to the middle of the book youll be submerged in the storyline and when you reach the end youll already greave that the book wont go on.

The reader, his voice and the quallity of the recording is really very good too.

4/5 on all accounts, ill warmly recomend this to anyone that likes a bit of cyberpunk action.
