Conquest is the next chapter in the great interstellar war between all living creatures and the machines. Star Force must stop the machine invaders once again - but how?

In the fourth book of the Star Force series, Kyle Riggs has freed Earth from the chains of the Macros - but at what cost? The Macros no longer trust him. Conquest

This is the fourth book of the star force series. Again Kyle Riggs and his marines are fighting one war / battle after another. Now the war seems to expand exponentially.

Amazing

I've listened to the story twice and it is just as exciting. The story is easy to follow. It's as if you are taking part in the life of the characters.

A great story, - Too many edits

Would you listen to Conquest: Star Force, Book 4 again? Why?

I seem to like this story thou it is the same story. The only problem I had with this book was the edits, It would really kill the immersion when the edit cuts in and it is in a differnt tone, and not the same feel as the rest of the story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Marvin, He is quirky

Which scene was your favorite?

The battle for the isle

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

None really

Kyle Riggs is at it again!

This is an amazing series, by a great writer. The arc of Kyle Riggs character doesn't really grow much in this book, but it is still a really fun read and well worth the credit! If you have enjoyed the previous books in the series, you will love this one as well!

Riggs

What made the experience of listening to Conquest: Star Force, Book 4 the most enjoyable?

Non stop action.

What did you like best about this story?

Book 4 moves the story along and sets things up for the next book very cleverly. If you have read the first 3 you will not be disappointed. The more things change the more they stay the same. Its Riggs against the universe. This might be one of the best series on Audible.

Have you listened to any of Mark Boyett’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes he always does a good job. His work with Larson is great. I loved him in Undying Mercenaries and he is up the task here as well.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No but these books have a way of getting into the fabric of your day when you get hooked on them. Good entertainment does that.

Any additional comments?

This is not Shakespeare and doesn't pretend to be. It's action ad more action with little time for introspection or motive. The plot moves along and we move with it to figure things out with Riggs. Good stuff.

Last part was hard to get through still it rocks.

Some of the interpersonal stuff was just so over the top. I suppose he needed to address the personal stuff but it just seemed so out of place.
The book was great but I felt my attention falling off at the 2/3 mark. I even fast forwarded to the end just so I felt some resolution then the next day I slogged through the remaining chapters.
