    "Avoid"

Barely made it into this book, but I just couldn't handle the extremely juvenile plot, character interactions, or narration. Avoid at all costs.

    Story
"Great Story, but performance could be better"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. The story is original, and although the narration starts out rough it gets much better.

Who was your favorite character and why?

    Caeser. He was absolutely hilarious.

What three words best describe Justine Vannucci’s voice?

Bright, expressive, at some moments grating

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed throughout most of the book, but there was a part that made me bawl like a little girl.

    Any additional comments?

I don't have anything to compare this to because it's that unique. There's a bit of obscure mythology mixed in with a solid story base. It's not high brow, but not everything has to be. It's fun. I wouldn't recommend this for children, though.

    Story
    "Very entertaining dark comedy"
Would you listen to Children of the Pomme again? Why?

Yes, very entertaining characters and original storyline.

What did you like best about this story?

What started out as a what seemed to be slightly formulaic turned into a very well told story that made me laugh, but still had enough emotion and heart to win me over.

What does Justine Vannucci bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The character Emily is voiced very well.

    Any additional comments?

The narrator seems to stumble through the beginning but finds her place and does a good job of telling the story. The story might be rather offensive to some, but I enjoyed it for its dark humor while managing to tell an original and engaging story with some very human and touching elements and well written action scenes.

    Story
    "Good Funny Story"
What did you love best about Children of the Pomme?

Ceaser, anything to do with that guy was funny.

What other book might you compare Children of the Pomme to and why?

Honestly I don't have any other books to compare this one to

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

The narrator just sucked plain and simple. She did nothing to help the story along.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Oh so I'm terrible at these I don't have a single clue what a good tag line would be. Audible your question selection sucks.

    Any additional comments?

Good funny story worth the read, or well you know what I mean. Narrator well she just plain and simply sucked at this no emotion or feeling. There is always something new coming up that makes you want to keep listening.
