It's Cinderella, but not as you know her...Charm is a beautiful re-telling of the Cinderella story which takes all the much-loved elements of the classic fairytale (the handsome prince, the fairy godmother, the enchanted mouse, the beautiful girl and, of course, the iconic balls) and puts a modern spin on the characters, their motives and their desires. This is fun, contemporary, sexy, and perfect for fans of Once Upon a Time, Grimm, Snow White and the Huntsman and more. Read by Katie Scarfe and produced by Peter Rinne.

"Cinderella with a touch of Angela Carter"
I was glad I read Poison first as whilst the story is Cinderella, it does carry on from the previous book. This is definitely a series where you need to read them all in order to get the most out of it. The next one, Beauty, is obviously going to pick up where this left off. It abounds with references to other classic fairy tales which may or may not be of significance later.
If you've read the blub, you will know that this is an adult book with adult themes (hem hem). Heaving breasts and "hardness" all over the shop. ;)
Kaite Scarfe is still a fine reader. I appreciate that the heroines sound quite matter of fact and like normal women when they speak.
"Charming, sexy and funny!"
Very lighthearted entwined story. If Disney met 50 shades of grey this is what you'd get!
Finding out the Princes secret!!
No, I want to savour the little bits here and there in the mist of work and washing-up.
