I love these books!

This book brings in a whole new character you don't know anything about. Harry would do anything to say family!

this is an action packed one. A lot going on but not too much for you to get confused. Been one of my favorites so far. The ending is A+

Changes promised and delivered!

This twelfth installment of The Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher takes a sharp turn, goes along fir a bit, turns back... no, wait, it’s the other way... from beginning to end.

I won’t give any spoilers, I’ll just say that this is the most emotionally engaging book in the series so far. The other elements that drew me in from the beginning—the slowly developing back story, the three-dimensional characters, the strong women who have brains and bodies and aren’t afraid to use them, the fascinating “physics” of Butcher’s magical world—they’re all still there. With the added emotional explorations, I was on the edge of my seat for the whole book.

Definitely do not skip this one!

Ermagerd.

For realsies. Read the first 11 books for no reason other than the privilege of reading this book. That, and they are also amazing.

The pain never Changes

This is still the single most feel filled book I've ever experienced. James Marsters has done an excellent job bringing every bit of this to life and I can not imagine it being done better.

Starting to connect the dots

Would you consider the audio edition of Changes: The Dresden Files, Book 12 to be better than the print version?

I think both are awesome but I loved James' performance.

What about James Marsters’s performance did you like?

Again James is amazing

Any additional comments?

This is were we begin connecting the dots of the previous books and see where it has been heading.

Changes is an appropriate title.

I found myself liking this book less than the others about half way through it and thought it might be "the turning point" where the author started to slip. It happens in the best of series and is always a disappointment for the hard core reader. I was wrong, I will admit. The author pulled off a spectacular finish and managed to mostly keep true to the characters. If you are a first-time reader of the Harry Dresden series you will want to start with one of the earlier books. For those newbies there is just too much of the storyline dependent on prior knowledge of the story. In Jim Butcher style, he generally writes the series where the reader can jump in at any point and enjoy. This book is not that way. Start early for new folk--this is a great series and should be savored.
