Now Arianna Ortega, Duchess of the Red Court, has discovered a secret Susan has long kept, and she plans to use it - against Harry. JIM & JAMES are the Mythology of writer and narrator who bring a series of books to LEGEND!!

I am almost finished listening to "CHANGES" for the Fourth time. "THE DRESDEN FILES" series on Audible is my favorite thing to play in my art studio other than music.
"CHANGES", is part of a series of the absolute BEST contemporary fantasy fiction books ever written. Adding James Marsters as narrator for the Audible books is nothing short of Genius. James takes Jim's writing and paints a Masterpiece!
If you are looking for a new (to you) series of Contemporary Fantasy collection of audio books. Go to Audible and start listening. These books will change the way you look at the world. While working in my art studio and I need some inspiration, I just start a "DRESDEN FILES" novel, and Harry always brings me a Muse.
Killer books, just Killer!!

THERE'S ALWAYS WORK FOR A "GOOD" WIZARD

Jim Butcher does it again! When "The Dresden Files Series" was on television, I was a died in the wool fan. I really enjoyed them and was sorry to see the series canceled. I can't tell you how happy I was to see these book at "Audible". Downloaded this book and was never disappointed from start to finish. The mixture of suspense, comedy, and romance was great.

CHANGES is the best book in the series this far.

So many characters from past books are tied into this thrilling tale of Harry rescuing a little girl. From his godmother and his mentor, to his half brother and half vampire ex.... everyone is in play this time. Nice pay off in the build up to this book.

Has it all

Would you consider the audio edition of Changes: The Dresden Files, Book 12 to be better than the print version?

Great and entertaining read. It was the most intense of the series. As always, funny and full of twists and turns all the way to the end. Really loved it.

What does James Marsters bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Awesome performance. Great comedic timing and palpable emotion at the same time.

I did NOT want this book to end

and yet, the tension was so fierce, I couldn't have continued much longer. Pairing Jim Butcher and James Marsters was a stroke of genius. Marsters makes it completely easy to suspend disbelief that there is only one person reading the parts of Harry Dresden and all the other characters in the stories. The entire series is constructed so that each story stands alone, yet becomes a part of the whole fabric that is Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden. I'm not ready to say goodbye to Harry. Might there be more?

I offer an unqualified 5 stars for both author and narrator.

Changes Indeed

This story is very suspenseful, full twist and turns. The conclusion is epic! The narration of James Marsters invokes the spirit of all the characters. Jim Butcher’s amalgamation of ancient and modern myth is weaved with mastery. Enjoy.

Again, Butcher Rocks!!

This is one of my favorite Dresden novels. None of these are bad books at all, but for this one and the past two, Butcher really seems to be hitting his stride! This coupled with Marsters' masterful voice interpretation (say that 3 times...) makes for an excellent audiobook!

James Marsters really outdid himself in this one

Not sure why anyone would read a review for the eleventh book in any series but the narrator did especially well in this one. Wow.
