A world in chaos…
An eager new ally…
A newly acquired ship…
An even greater threat on its way…
Captain Nathan Scott must decide whether to stand and fight to the end, or live to fight another day - even if it means the end of his world.

This is Brown's best yet. His characterizations are becoming well-developed with real emotions and real problems. Nathan Scott has matured into someone far wiser than his years, which one would expect considering his past 8 months. The plot continues to interest and occasionally surprise. Can't wait for the next installment.
IT Project Manager in CA. I would say I am a Audio Book Addict...
I have every book in the series and would place it in the category as these space series -- The Lost Fleet by Jack Campbell, Kris Longknife by Mike Sheperd, and Cassandra Kresnov by Joel Shepperd.
Well if your sucked into the series you have no choice but to recommend them.
No each book I read is different
None really, but the Author better keep JK he is an excellent voice actor. An audio book can succeed or fail on the voice actor. You change voice actor in this series of books would kill them. Pay whatever price he asks for. And no he is not my brother or cousin.
Aurora against all odds.
I wish he would write a longer book, Ben Bova seems give more bank for the buck. Plus I would think since this is a series the time between books would be shorter your just continuing with the story line. I would suggest you ask the readers to submit story line ideas. Might help in moving the story along faster. No they don't get paid and No they don't get credit. They get to see their idea on the written page and that should be enough
Audio book lover with sci-fi leanings
While great on its own, Books 10 and 11 go very well together. Be prepared to download both for a great listen and a more complete story.
The geometry of the battles (both space and atmosphere) might be hard to follow for the novice, but being a F-16 fighter pilot I find it fascinating how the author follows good sound tactical practices
Easy to follow but I spent much time rewinding to capture complex intertwined plots
Josh - he has the Right stuff. A natural cocksure but not arrogant pilot
The Ark of Knowledge
Body movements, stage ques are whispered between voices. I haven't paid attention to how any other narrated book was written or noticed if or how a book is narrated... stage questions and body language and who the speakers are. BUT WHISPERING IS NOT HOW YOU NARRATE!
#####Kafer is on my never again list.#####
I have enjoyed every book in the series so far. I put it on in the car and listened to this whole book while driving to a holiday celebration.
"The Frontiers Saga continues in fine form"
If you have enjoyed the story so far you will not be disappointed. Captain Scott and his crew continue their fight against the odds, working towards the inevitable confrontation against the might of the Jung Empire.
"standout in the series"
as always from Mr kafer a fabulous narration and and excellent tale from ryk. Best in the series so far!
"A battle against all odds"
Gripping, cut and thrust action, which keeps you guessing and on the edge - great climax
