Love fantasy books, usually with a strong female character. I also enjoyed just about anything from J.D Robb I am a fan of mysteries as well. I also enjoy funny and quirky novels anything from Molly Harper is a winner in my book. Since listening to audio books is important to me while I travel I also follow certain narrators as well.
I have to give it to Kenyon she does know how to create a story that no one else has written about. When I read this there was not a second book just the one. I was left at the end wondering if there would be a second, but unless it on sale I will not be reading. This was a fast read and it was on sale at the time I read it. It touches lightly on some deep issues that she could have expanded on to grab the reader, overall I felt like the book just skimmed the surface and left a lot of possibilities on the table.
I'm a big fan of Sherrilyn Kenyon and I like she writesdifferent style too. I enjoyed this book for a beginning of a new serie. It is very different from all the other series she writes for sure but not bad at all.
