The series has found it's footing
Each book gets noticably better. This and the previous one, Death Masks, have been my favorites. Hoping the upward trend continues!

Butcher + Marsters is more like Butcher x Marsters
A fantastic story and a fantastic story teller. As the Dresden Files continues the writing and performance of Butcher and Marsters gains momentum. its a true delight to read and listen to.

Harry is my hero!
What made the experience of listening to Blood Rites the most enjoyable?
Always, the Dresden Files catch my interest and keep me wanting more. Listening to the audio version read by James Marsters just makes it all come to life even more.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Blood Rites?
You need to read this and find out for yourself - why spoil it for you.
What does James Marsters bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
His characterizations and subtle voice changes bring each character to life.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
This is too long for my busy schedule, but find Jim Butcher's books make you want to read/hear more as soon as you have a free moment.

I'll be listing to the next in the series starting tomorrow, for my Monday commute time. What more can you say to compliment an author but that you can't wait to start their next book?
I purchased the Kindle e-book version and the Audible Whispersync version of this book. It is the best of both worlds! I can connect my Kindle to my car's radio system and enjoy listening when I commute, or listen when working around the house; then use Whispersync to switch back to the book when I need to do quiet reading. They are working seamlessly for me and I am loving this feature.
