Publisher's summary

"The sight of three naked, bloody men wandering into the clearing with moonlight clouding their eyes would probably send anyone else running for their life. I just sighed and watched them walk toward me."

As the first female vampire successfully turned in 700 years, Lissa finds herself in demand by the Vampire Aristocracy. Forced into an unexpected engagement as a result, Lissa feels trapped and stifled as she continues training with her surrogate sire. When a request comes from the Grand Master of the werewolves, Weldon Harper, Lissa leaps at the opportunity to work as his bodyguard once more.

Wlodek, Head of the Vampire Council, in an effort to solidify vampire/werewolf relations, allows Lissa to provide protection for the Grand Master during his yearly travels across the U.S. The only vampire ever named Pack, Lissa is permitted to work with the Grand Master without supervision from others of her kind.

Things become complicated and then downright deadly as old enemies reemerge. Intent on exacting revenge for a failed coup against the Grand Master, rogue werewolves join with new and perilous allies. Now, Lissa must find a way not only to keep the werewolf race alive, but the vampires as well.

I enjoy this one also

I enjoy all the characters in this book. But really like Franklin and Lissa relationship. I didn't like how Lissa was unfairly treated by the vampire council which pisses me off no end.Great series, and I know there are many more books that are already published so I hope Audible hurry up and get the rest of the books....

Great book

These books have some humor and intrigue and are not sexually explicit, which I find much more pleasant than many.

Just as good if not better than the first book!

If you could sum up Blood Passage in three words, what would they be?

Funny, exciting and sad --> ending.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Blood Passage?

The ones that stick closes too my mind is how unfairly she is treated by the vampire council which pisses me off no end. Which the ending will defenately indicate.

What about Traci Odom’s performance did you like?

She is one my top 3 of favourite female narrators. so 5/5 excellent job!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yeah i got it all in one go, I was working overtime so I was listening almost nonstop from 06.30 til 19.00 whit some pauses in between.

Any additional comments?

This is a great series, and I know there are many more books that are already published so we hopefuly doesnt have too wait that long until the next one is available as Audiobook. Tough the ending truly disturbed me so they better hurry i wan't too know how its resolved Asap!

This series is so degrading to women.

What disappointed you about Blood Passage?

I liked the first book in this series but this book begins the decline followed by the next book which was so degrading I could not listen to it. You have a strong smart heroine who is beaten by the people in control of her and then is constantly yelled at and belittled by her fiancé, now you wouldn't expect her to put up with it but the deeper you get into this series the more she cowers to the men in her life.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Nothing by Connie Suttle

What about Traci Odom’s performance did you like?

She did a fine job

Such a weak female character

What disappointed you about Blood Passage?

This book has a relatively interesting story but it was painful to get through. Poor representation of women and what they are capable of. Hated the main character.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Anger! The main character is a weak idiot.

What the hell happened to this story!

What a piece of crap! The first book was great, then this pos. So there is a scene where the main characters is sexually assaulted and it is played off like - No big deal. The men are assholes. She is abused mentally, sexually and physically. I am shocked and returning this one.

From Heroine to Cum Dumpster

Any additional comments?

In the last book, she was smart, resourceful, and strong. In this book she is a weak pushover. She is sold into a marriage by the council and all she does is whimper. Raped by he fiance and she just accepts it and calls him honey. Dry humped and cummed on by some other guy and she doesn't even tell him off. Her fiance goes full on psycho possessive and she just takes it. When meeting up with the guy who cummed on her, she just flirts with him more.

All I can say is thank you Connie, I've decided to take your advice and after my girlfriend woke up this morning and got dressed, I blew my load all over her. When she tried to change I said no and told here I would follow her to work and assault any guy who stared at her. Because of you we have been able to take our relationship to a whole new level.

Just sad

This book is a lowest common denominator. It shows how the majority of the men in this book think like cave men still. it also shows that this protagonist is a total idiot. Let me vent again from another review.

First, and very seriously why do most men ( woman in this case ) that write think they have the right to grab or touch a woman without knowing them, without permission, without consequences? Then make the women all docile and dis-empowered? Most women would backhand these goofballs and then call the cops on them to have them arrested for sexual assault. This pisses me off to know end.

Second and this is why I call this protagonist a total idiot. This Gavin dude for one example is one piece of work. Super possessive, verbally abusive, sexual assaulted her, kidnapped her, mind controlled her for more than a day and he was going to execute her!! So here we are in book two, that all happened in book 1, let's forget all what that d-bag and his coven did and just cuddle with him, let him sneak into your room without permission, let him strip you naked without permission and start the cycle ALL OVER AGAIN.

If vampire hunters were in this world, Gavin and a lot that coven should be burned to the ground.
