Another great listen
New adventure with Mercy and I am still hooked. The story is filled with adventure, action, challenges, humor and romance - brought expertly forward through the different characters. The narrator is still doing a wonderful job telling the story. Enjoyed every minute.

Caught in the Dark
There is a vampire, sorcerer terrorizing the Tri-Cities and Mercy gets caught in the middle. This is an action packed mystery that will keep you guessing. Great performance by Lorelei King.

Fantastic
This series is what alpha and omega should have been. the second of the Mercy Thompson series I have listened to and it was just as entertaining as the first. I'm really liking this series and the narrator.

Love this series
I love the Mercy Thompson book series. It has everything that draws me in. A great heroine who is both strong but needs help. A bit of comedy that makes me laugh out loud from time to time. A great world of paranormal. And overall good story telling.

Not your Ordinary Mechanic!
Great book. I love this series but accidently started with book 4 so I am catching up and enjoying every minute of it. Mercedes is a excellent female lead surrounded by intriguing characters and Ms. Briggs brilliant story telling makes it difficult to return to real life obligations when entangled in her books.

good story and a great heroine
I have really enjoyed the first 2 books. The story moves along quickly and Mercy is an excellent female protagonist. She doesn't sit back while the men do the dirty work of dealing with the devil.

Fantastic Performance!
The Mercy Thompson series is a wonder: great from the first book, no sophomore slump, fantastic characters that all get deep and meaningful arcs, and a fresh and unique world in the larger urban fantasy landscape.
Even better, Lorelei Kong's performance takes these already great books to the next level. Her narration adds depth and nuance to a story I've already read twice. Wonderful work!

Silly fun escape from your own reality
There are these moments in books, such as when a walker walks into a fae tavern and ends up singing a Christian song to a group of Celtic fae, that made me laugh aloud.
Hard to explain to other folks sitting near you so I didn’t try. Thoroughly enjoyed this story with its ability to not take itself too seriously. Fun with tropes. A little bit of intense romance. Good escape.
Lorelei King does a great job with the voices!
