    "Best of the trilogy"

The Night Angel Trilogy grows increasingly multi-threaded, leaving the reader wondering where Weeks is ultimately going. He finally ties almost all threads together in a memorable conclusion that is worth the effort. Narrator Paul Boehmer improves as the book goes on and finishes with fine drama.

"Diapointing - Shallow and unbeleivable characters"
What was most disappointing about Brent Weeks’s story?

The characters just never became believable and the story just seemed to spin out of control. Seemed like everytime he wanted to put it back on track he just interjected another character or changed the nature of the character. I keep reading the series hoping it would finally form into some kind of logic but it just never happened. I know you suspend your disbelief, but the story should weave a 'world' that holds together. The decisions and motivations of the characters just are not credible. At every turn in the story one is just left wondering, really?!

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The performence was hard to rate as the story was so weak I am not sure that anyone could have done a great job with it.

    "let down"

I was in love with the first 2 books, but all of a sudden the author decided to deal with the hornyness of all the virgin men in this one book. Beyond that the story was nothing short of the awesomeness I had come to love in the first to, until the character minds wandered off the battle feel and on his or her wife or husband at home. The other books seemed far more balanced with love and killing and a war and kings being killed.

    "Great series"

I really love this series, and the way everything was tied together in the end was balanced perfectly eith enough spice to keep you hoping Mr Weeks continues the storyline in a new set of books. Well done to both author and narrator

    "Excellent trilogy. A must read!!!"

The characters had me cheering for their success, fearful and saddened for their plight, and entertained by a great story.

    "enjoyable"

I thought it was good - exactly the enjoyment I expect from the author, and the narrator did a good job - distinctive character voices with only a few seeming missteps with the voice oe words. maintaining the expectations I have from this author :-)
