Jane Yellowrock and the Younger brothers, partners in Yellowrock Securities, are hired by the state of Louisiana to track, hunt, and dispatch a small pack of marauding werewolves. They may be part of the larger pack that Jane destroyed in the novel Mercy Blade. The job sounds easy on the surface, but is anything ever easy for Jane or her Beast?

This is a fun short story, but be aware that it is an extract from one of the other books, not a new story.
Also be aware that while some of these 'shorts' are an hour or more long, others are rather less than that.
Very enjoyable listen anyway!
Nice side trip into drama that builds the characters relationships before Leo's attempt to bind. Jane has to work on not nearly dying so much. My heart can't take it.
I love listening to Hvam read Hunter's work. Can't imagine anyone doing it better. I'm never confused about which character is speaking. Eli always sounds like Eli, for example.
Been reading since I was three. My long commute prevents me from reading books so I turned to audible and haven't looked back since!
Liked it a lot. Would love to hear more about the lone wolf and his story.
I don't usually rush out for all the "best sellers", but give each intriguing book/author a look. I have found many diamonds in the rough.
This was another great short by Faith Hunter. I liked how Jane had to work with other paranormals in this addition, it helps to see how extraordinary she really can be. Her ability to skin walk is so interesting and ever changing. Khristine Hvam is the perfect southern voice for Jane.
I love this short story it was fast-moving interesting everything that faith hunters stories are and of course Janie and beast always keep it interesting.
Even though this was a novella, it just - ended. It would have liked a little more attention to detail with the ending. Not the best of the bunch but worth listening to.
