Publisher's summary

Cerise Mar and her unruly clan are cash poor but land rich, claiming a large swathe of the Mire, the Edge swamplands between the state of Louisiana and the Weird. When her parents vanish, her clan's long-time rivals are suspects number one.

But all is not as it seems. Two nations of the Weird are waging a cold war fought by feint and espionage, and their conflict is about to spill over into the Edge - and Cerise's life. William, a changeling soldier who left behind the politics of the Weird, has been forced back into service to track down a rival nation's spymaster.

When William's and Cerise's missions lead them to cross paths, sparks fly - but they'll have to work together if they want to succeed…and survive.

never enough - too long to wait for another!

Ilona Andrews books are my favorites now - just terrific, Good story, witty, steamy and funny. I can't wait for more of these and the "Magic Bites" series. Such cool and wonderful ideas of futuristic dystopias... I am always entertained.

Best Ilona Andrews Heroin, yet

I really loved the struggle and love story in this book. What's great about it, is there is a lot of adventure/action, a progressive maze of a story, with the right sprinkling of love. I think it's the best of the series.

It wasn't only action packed, it had a ton of mystery and intrigue. The wolf portion of the saga is so great, you see it in all three books. This one doesn't let you down, it gets you more interested in the stories.

The narrator was great and really got male and female voices down. It was such a great book, I thought the story could have gone on longer!

I LOVE William!!!!

Ok, listen up people. I was very eager to write this review. This book is awesome. There is enough action, adventure, and romance for everyone!

I want to point out that in book 1 William's character seemed stalkerish, weird, creepy, desperate and whiny. He kind of sounded like a real wimp. Well let me tell you...William is none of those things. William is awesome! Manly, strong, tough, sensitive, humorous and lets not forget handsome! I enjoyed this book even more than book 1, because while I loved Declan I just think William is more realistic and did I say awesome? LOL. I loved the connection with Sirese (spelling?) and with her whole family. I tell you I got nervous everytime there was a new fight, just hoping none of my favorite characters got hurt. I am going to go ahead and admit I got teary eyed a time or two.

This book definitely kept my attention and I was actually sad it ended. The good thing is that every book in the series is connected so you kind of get to glimpse the characters from another's point of view.

The narration, characters, and story are great. You cannot and will not go wrong purchasing this book whether it is on sale or full price! You definitely should have this in your collection!

don't fall asleep and don't get distracted!

the narrator was really good in this book but let me tell you about details maybe 15 or 20 characters this time and you've got to remember them all and their characteristics you can't get distracted you've got to stay on point but in the end this is a very unexpected and delightful story

Favorite author, not favorite narrator.

This is one of my favorite books. The story is great from beginning to end. Ilona Andrews is a one of a kind duo, creating worlds that you can immerse yourself in. I love the edge series. They are all good stories.

Not my favorite but still good

This was alright but it's probably my least favorite of all the Andrews books I've read. I'd still rate it three and a half or four. I think it went on longer than it needed to. I like Sereise and William and I'd love to have more interaction between them and Deckland and Rose in the next book.

The narrator is the same throughout all these books and does a very nice job.

Love, Love, Love the Edge!

If you could sum up Bayou Moon in three words, what would they be?

Really great characters

What does Renée Raudman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Ms Raudman is a great narrator. Her voices bring the book to life

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

There are some books that you want stretch out because listening to them is such a pleasure. This was one of them.

Any additional comments?

It was nice to see a relationship between a man and woman that was not predicated on misunderstanding. I liked that the characters did not try to play games with each other, but spoke plainly of their feelings.
