Audrey’s Door is the Bram Stoker Award-winning supernatural thriller about a woman running from her past, who moves into a haunted apartment on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. In her sleep, her latent OCD flairs, and she begins to build a door. She’s not sure whether she’s going mad, or it’s the building, or the strange, aged tenants living across the hall, but something has gone very wrong. And some doors lead to all the wrong places.

"Rewarded for taking a chance an unknown book"
As a fan of horror I have found myself let down by books more often than I am impressed since the genre tends to leave itself open to lazy devices that undermine its readers.
I had never heard of this book before, nor its author, but I took a chance and was entertained from start to finish.
In the traditional horror sense it delivered a good old haunted house story set against an architectural quandary that reminded me of The Shining, House of Leaves and The Haunting of Hill House whilst managing to stand on its own feet.
