Publisher's summary

The half-breed known only as Nosferatu has existed since ancient Egyptian times as part of a group of bioengineered beings that served the old gods.

But those gods are no more - eradicated by human efforts - so now Nosferatu schemes to thrust himself into the resulting power vacuum. In order to achieve this, he requires a piece of leftover alien technology known as the Holy Grail. With it, he can grasp true immortality, be freed of his need for human blood, and reunite with the lover the gods took from him so many years ago.

Yet his kin still stalk the earth as well - powerful creatures who have been both his allies and his enemies throughout history. And one of their numbers, Vampyr, has set his own deadly plans in motion concerning the Grail. As the two unstoppable forces converge on their singular goal, the inevitable clash of strength and cunning could usher in a new Age of the Undead…or extinguish all life on Earth.

good side story

it doesnt add much to the cannon of Area 51 nor does it further the story; however, it is still well written and narrated.

Uhhhh

So this is some sort of follow on piece that for the most part has nothing to do with the original story. Oh. It was alright, it just covered a bunch of stuff that I didn’t care about.

WTF?😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😤

I am DNFing this series! I fell in love with Duncan and Turcotte only to have her (SPOILERS) die in the 7th book (even though she is suppose to be immortal! Then the last two books are fucking prequels. I am very DISAPPOINTED and ANGRY that all these characters went through amounted to shit!💩💩💩💩💩💩💩😡😡👎🏼😡😡😡👎🏼👎🏼😡😡😡😡😡👎🏼😡👎🏼👎🏼😡😡

Not the best

Great performance. Story was lacking considerably. Hopefully the next book picks up and returns to good action.

More of the same

While I have enjoyed this series overall. It is starting to loose steam. This particular novel basically filled n some back story but really didn't add anything new.
The performance was still pretty good but suffered from lack of drama or surprises in the story itself.

Still a great story

What did you love best about Area 51: Nosferatu?

This is a vampire love story. This does not continue from "The Truth" put is a side story that continues to fill in more info concerning alien intervention through out history.

What other book might you compare Area 51: Nosferatu to and why?

this is far better than any of the vampire chick flicks on at the movies

What about Eric G. Dove’s performance did you like?

Easy to listen to, master of his art.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

This book is quit bloody and graphic concerning the habits of vampires, verges on too much blood and gore but the history aspect is fascinating.

Any additional comments?

I can listen to this story again, it is a complete story with villains, victims and allot of nasties in the area 51 world. Even though a side line adds to the area 51 story. This is a very clever story, I enjoyed it.

meh. no turcotte & no real "mystery suspense"

the book is fine and probably deserves a better rating if on it's own, but i was looking to continue the adventures of mike T and he's not even in it. seems like more of a side book rather than part of the series.
