Meljean's story is not included. I did notice audible doesn't have her listed as an author but I thought it was an over-site like not listing Renee Raudman as the reader for Ilona's story, which she is BTW.
Good book, but Justine Eyre's voice makes it impossible to listen to - I bought a hard copy.
I haunt the web looking for anything with Ilona Andrews writings, I'm a definite fan! Her stories are always, always full of fun, adventure and romance! She never lets her fans down and I mean Never!
this was a collection of short stories, brilliantly done by Nalini Gingh, Sharon Shinn and especially IIona Andrews....I love to read anthologies and collected short stories for reasons that I can listen to some authors I haven't heard before. I was impressed with the two I was not familiar with (Nalini Singh and Sharon Shinn) I especially loved the Ilona Andrews story, she is amazing, I don't know how she comes up with her story lines but in this book I was totally floored and pleased by what she put together for this collection.
I love collections like this, again because it offers a chance to listen to authors I wouldn't normally listen to if they were not in the collection. I will now be looking at books by these authors.
I loved all the stories, but I wish it could have included Ascension by Meljean Brook as the printed version does.
I don't want to name names because I don't remember for sure which narrator it was, but the narrator of the Nalini Singh story has the most unpleasant voice it has been my misfortune to hear. I can not imagine how she has established a career as a narrator with such a grating and unpleasant voice. The stories were good, and the other narrators were fine. Just skip the Nalini Singh story.
Generally speaking, I don't like short stories. You get interested and then it's over! But each of these stories, though very different, held my interest! I was sorry each was over. Makes me want to buy more from each author, even though I've read or listened to stories from each. Thank you, ladies!
It was ok, but not alot of thrills I felt as in the other series of books. There were some moments that took my breath away, but not as many as in the earlier books.
I am not sure ai have a good answer for this. It kept my attention but sometimes I thought the way it went would have gone another way, but then again I am not the writer.
Yes very good performance
Three stories in one book,......
Maybe Supernatural or one if the other compilation books...
Each story had a favorite scene si it would be hard to pick just one
For me the last story was a moving one
I would say it's worth a credit
I'm a grad student with very little time to edit reviews because I'm editing research papers. Forgive the typos. They're made with love.
Im a huge Nalini Singh fan an read a Shinn book once so I thought I'd check this out. Not bad - the first was more sexual, the second was a bit tedious and seemed to be just a segment where two people meet and lots of stuff is revealed (stuff the reader won't care about unless this has anything to do with a story she already has written), and the third was actually a story I wanted to read more of.
