Kept you wanting to hear the next line. I would come home and listen until I had to get up and continue on with my daily life. You know it's good when you are sorry it's over😓
Definitely one of the the better books of the event group.
The action was exciting and a great for Atlantis believers.
a Tech Exec who loves the stories about what could be and what should have been. Mixed with histories told from an outside perspective.
The event group series is a great serial which at times requires you to suspend reality...but that is part of fiction.
The first two books in the series were okay; nothing great, but worth the time spent listening. However, I found Ancients to be confusing and, sorry to say, boring. It has taken me days to plod through it and I always have to go back and review the last chapter to try to figure out where I am in the book. The character development was almost nonexistent and the story itself was too convoluted to flow with any consistency.
While I will try the next book in the series, it is more because I am a devotee of series writing than am sold on this particular series. I can only hope this is just a temporary set-back.
