Vivid
There's some extremely vivid, almost archetypal imagery here. It made me wonder if Gaiman is versed in pathworking on the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. If I listened to this before bed and sleep it would stay with my through the night, in a haunting sort of way.
If you're the hyper sensitive sort, this book will work its way into your subconscious and make you question the heart of humanity and reflect on the brutality of our collective past.

Too short.
This was a very good listen, I only knew about it after falling in love with the TV show. I hope the show has many more seasons then this book gave in chapters or time. The only thing that really disappointed me was the lack of a really good climatic end. I wish the author would have made it a trilogy or series because I was left feeling like there were many questions that went unanswered or maybe he could have just given a wee bit more. Other then that it was a good book and the reader did a very fine job indeed.
